A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ RUclips. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of RUclips I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on RUclips won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This RUclips channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

Yes, this is an intentional skit. It does accurately portray how the majority judges. I’ve avoided being a youtuber because I know I’d be open season for ugliness. Overall, I have a thick skin but I don’t need the extra stress.

Yes. Dar Man does a lot of videos like this about never judging a book by its cover. Yes the music industry wants slim, sexy, looks over talent. Jennifer Hudson spoke about this as well as others. Smh
Third! This is a skit. Nothing is real about this video.
Having said that, there are plenty who cannot sing, but they have the look, or personality that the industry is looking for.
There are plenty of videos on RUclips of major 'stars' who cannot sing.
I had to deal with fat shaming wihen I was a kid and even now I have family that have to deal with it. People can be so cruel (intentonally or not) and not think anything of it. "Man's inhumanity to man" - Plus ce chance...
Man, the acting on this was intense. If I hadn't seen the comments, I would've thought this really happened. How did they get those 20 or so people in the audience like it was the Emmy Awards?
I’m so very tired of people hate or dislike some one just because how they body is no matter that you’re fat or skinny you deserve more than that you beautiful for who you are no matter what this goes to men and women you need to be loved and care for and trust for the way you know that treats you right 🤗💋💋🗣
This was not a real event. It's just for entertainment. Dhar Mann videos are preachy, made-up stories that are supposed to teach some kind of lesson. I think they don't do anything because the people who need the lesson are not watching, and if they were, it would not make a bit of difference.
They are very cringe
Adele or Meghan Trainor for example don't have the "popstar" look and they sell millions of records. Michael Jackson was a "black artist" and he became the King of Pop, Elvis Presley had the industry against him at first and he became a legend. When someone has talent, if they persevere and they work hard they will have chances no matter what they look like or what their background is. Those without talent eventually go away. You can't full everyone forever.
They are actor's, it's a skit of some sort, you should watch some "worst of America's got talent" or one of those other talent shows, that Simon Cowell is such an a hole to people, especially talantless ones who are deluded enough to believe they'll somehow win, it's good humor

Dhar Mann videos are all acting but they are very good and he has a lot of very inspirational ones. He has one line that they say in all of them "so you see"
