- This was one of my craziest experiences Ive ever had in skydiving. I had got a introduction from a nice guy who brought this training-board to us for using. I definitly had to try this thing. For safety we ask our rigger (Franz) to upgrade the board with a pilute chute release system and I thought we are good to go. A week later, under the week, we had a lot of space in our porter so we decided to try it out. We jumped and you saw what happened in the first try... It was a fuckin mess. Fortunatly I was able to cut it away (Thank you Franz!) at round about 2900 meter and we found it after 1h searching in a field (luckily).

THE PROBLEM
The binding of my front foot was not specially configurated for my smaller foot size... Should have checked better beforehand -.-.
This is a freaking hard thing to control. I wouldnt recommend doing it, but if you would like to: GET A PROPER INTRODUCTION FROM A SPECIALIST and think about it twice! If I had less experience than nowadays this could have been worse.

Oh man. This brought back memories...
Back in 2012 or so, my friends and I went through a time period where we jumped skyboards.
It was short-lived... :) You did really good. I wish I had video of my first experience. VERY similar. lolol
Thats a real hardcore thing to fly xD How many jumps did you make? Did you come to fly it like tracking?
@learnld very nice xD yeah with this small boards I think its not really possible to track but I didnt want to try the bigger board... at least for now. Maybe Im getting into it qgain some day :)
@@SKYDICTED I doxxed my other account by accidentally forgetting to switch accounts. Lol. Meh, who cares! Yeah man... Those things are gnarly. When I watch videos of the old pros who used to really fly them - I am in awe. That thing is NOT a part of your body. Feels like a foreign object strapped to ya... (🤔 Hmm, wonder why... Lolol)

Why do they have the feet facing so forward, rather than more across the board like any other board sport?
Totally agree. If possible I would have changed it. Feels a lot like a race board with softboots...
das wurde mir komplett random angezeigt und ich bin beeindruckt! ich wusste gar nicht dass es sowas wirklich gibt. hab das mal in irgend einem film gesehen.
Im film hats wohl professioneller ausgesehen xD
