West Gang is the most ruthless gang in the North Western side of Durban. They have terrorist mentality and operate more around Inanda Township (headquarters/inception) and now since they are being hunted have scattered around Durban to operate in smaller numbers. Hope the SAPS manage to deal with them even though they are scattered. They average ages between 16 and 30 and are mostly high on drugs and unforgiving. Well done KZN SAPS. A guy I know had to go sleep at a friends house because when he got back to his house from work, he found armed kids had broken in and had been hiding in his house from whomever was after them. They told him they knew all his family and were going to kill him if he alerted police, they stayed there for 2 nights and left. He alerted police after the incident.

The houses are tightly packed. But the interiors are very nice. I've been there. Apartheid town planning wasnt meant to facilitate spacious homes.
It's called Skom Plaas in the olden days but today you call it a rural urban area/rural township where no one follows urban planning and shacks are a common thing. These houses you see were mostly all shacks before they were built. Very common to see around South Africa especially near big Cities. These areas are fertile for places for criminal recruitments and activity due to economic and social frustrations

Cape Town is number one, but, it's just that what really happenes in Cape Town is really really exposed because of political reasons. Remember the real hardcore of Gangsterism and Drugs is manufactured and distributed from Cape Town. So, most of the killing that is happening in South Africa is indeed in Cape Town. The real Kingpins of underworld are in Cape Town. Have you forgotten that in Cape Town they kill even Big Police Colonels and Top Lawyers. I don't wanna talk about the killing of people in the Cape flats, Gugulethu, as well as Inyanga Township. The worse part is that nothing is being done to stop this carnage in Cape Town. They are places there which are known to be No go Areas, So, what is that?
At least in KZN police are really fighting these criminals and everybody can see that. Kudos to the Head of the SAPS in KZN, Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi for doing a good job. I just hope and pray that they don't take him away from KZN to National. He is good for that Province of KwaZulu Natal. If they take him to National, he will become like Mr Bheki Cele, if people can remember Mr Bheki Cele when he was still in KZN, he was very good at his job as a Commissioner, the way he was fighting criminals there, people used to call him Skhokho Ndosi, because he really was. I don't know what happens when you become a national commissioner people change maybe there is a lot of interference from other people from government level.

KZN is a place that is like a graveyard, created by criminals...I think lot of Zulu guys in that area had nothing to think of....to get send to kill for them it's just a finger tip.
