    Thanks for reviewing this. Is the loc hard when crochet. Also, is the loc secure. Thinking of purchasing. A.S.A.P.

      The loc is secure and they aren’t hard but they can be. It depends on how you use the machine.

    Are you finding hair shavings on the machine after you make the loc? I was practicing with a "human hair" wig and I kept seeing hair shavings on the part of the machine under where the hair goes in.

      Yes. The crochet hook method in general rips the hair as it mats the hair.

      I practiced mine on a human hair mannequin and it shredded 2 locs So I returned it im not sure if it was the needles
      because I bought it used off of EBAY But I was not Happy with it. (Any suggestions ?)

    My son-in-law finally found someone near us who would actually loc his hair after 7 years of searching. This intrigues me for maintenance ongoing. He’s a white man and loves his locs.
    Would you recommend this machine for him for ongoing maintenance?

      Idk how well it does for maintenance since that’s very close to the scalp.

    Do they give firmness to the locs, leaving them rigid?

      If you aren’t careful

    Would you recommend this for combining locs that are one at the root but seperated into 2 further down?

      @loccdin222  3 месяца назад

      You could 👍🏽 I usually just cut the extra one off…so it’s not too heavy

      Yes it can be used on short hair but, it’s best to practice on a mannequin first hon🙏🏾

      I’m personally not a fan of the instaloc technique or using crochet tools in general. True locs are created by the natural shedding of hair. That being said the tool does create instalocs for those that like them 🤷🏽‍♀️
