No Ryder was always meant to betray thing is at the start Rockstar wanted him to betray after CJ and Sweet are arrested, just like OG Loc, and CJ would have found out about Ryder's betrayal only during "Photo Opportunity". But when they completed the game Rockstar felt like Ryder was too important as a character and that the player would have wanted to know earlier what happened to him after knowing Smoke had betrayed CJ and Sweet so they added Ryder in the cutscene the green sabre and a few dialogues to make it seem like Ryder was always a traitor just like Smoke and then also made the introduction to the game with a scene of Smoke convincing Ryder to join him before CJ gets to Los Santos.
I think if he did this way and game ended at this point, it would prevent so many peds and gangs to get murdered😁 by the way Welcome to your channel bro❤❤❤
This "alternative ending" you did was really good! It was very interesting that Officer Hernandez helped CJ kill corrupt police officers Tempenny and Pulaski, and CJ discovered the whole truth at the beginning of the game! Yay, Hernandez got to live in this timeline. Dude is literally the main reason CJ survived High Noon. Yeah, he did go along with them for much of the game, but he was gathering evidence of their corruption and crimes as well. He's the main reason Tenpenny went to court. The riots were because the court found him not guilty.
This is an interesting way to end it, but you gotta remember that the original way, not only did he reach the same ending, pretty much, he was also more succseful thanks to everyone who helped him
