    My 10th Great Grandpa Juan de Cuevas lived on and owned Cat island back in 1781. He got the island given to him by a Spanish land grant.

      My Great Great Grand mother was born and raised on Deer Island.. until her people were savagely beaten, murdered.. and we always wanted to know who had the Islands... White Murdering Europeans, British, French and Spanish these people who own the islands now or the descendants of. The Murdering colonizers... It's not their Land

    Cat island is a public use area dont let this guy fool you into thinking he runs cat island ....

      @Geek ...so that means the rights to build this camp were bought from Mississippi or the property the camp sits on...or they have public land squatters rights? How can this happen to be private unless a private person owns the island?

      Anyone can fish but I believe the house is owned by the charter company that is shown on video. I’ve fished in the area a few times.
