What ur asking for out of Easter eggs is even less defined. Bro the trainers is what shit on ur game. U should always ask first how's the movement. Black ops coldwar did s9me thing but hitbox was too big for the player and training was practically non-existent in Black ops 4
I keep seeing people say "but zombies has always been innovative". It's not innovating when you remove mechanics, add mechanics to make the mode "more accessible" and water down everything that made zombies what it is
Modern zombies is not and cannot be called innovative when it only doubled down on BO4's mistakes
Also while old zombies did consist of lots of elements from multiplayer, it did so in unique and interesting ways that diversified from what multiplayer did. BO3 zombies specialist weapons are essentially score streaks, but they are implemented in a creative way that brings a different vibe to each map. Score streaks in CW are just lazy. There are plenty of different examples you can use as well that shows they just cared more about making quality content back in the day whereas nowadays it's all about shortcuts.

The problem with modern zombies as of black ops 6 is they are doing extra...no one asked for salvage damage numbers drops scorestreaks in zombies

Honestly one of the things that made me love zombies is the lore behind every map and characters. It all tells a story that's interconnected between maps and games. Even if the gameplay has changed a lot and is not the most attractive thing in bo6 i believe that a strong story is needed to make people play the game. We want to know more about the Characters which is why Richtofen cut scene was so cool.
Yes. It's also why dedicated crews are so important. They experience the story with you, as well as having their own personal story.

as a bo6 defender myself I see where you're coming from because I also grew up with zombies starting with WaW, My top 5 maps of all time are Ascension, Nacht, Moon, Der Eisendrache, and Call of The Dead
The Chaos maps were the best Zombies most replayable maps as a an OG vet of zombies I loved the changes to the perk system special weapons and equipment. The maps were so unique and beautiful so much passion put into it by the devs. Peak zombies and we’ll never reach the top of Olympus again.
BO4 was peak zombies and then it fucking fell of a cliff with Cold War. Awful awful game.

This really motivated me to try BO6 zombies when it comes out, 2 years ago I bought Black Ops 2 and fell in love with the zombies, and after recently seeing the liberty falls gameplay I was so disappointed, but thank you for reminding me why I liked zombies in the first place!

I played zombies when I was a young girl in elementary school, played bo3 as a teenager & bo4 a couple times. I never knew a lot about Easter eggs just shields and parts basic things ! I just enjoyed the formula and cool maps & the fun grind. How difficult/adrenaline filled it was for me. At 18 me and my bf started playing zombies again bo2 bo1 & he showed me everything ! I have even more love for the old games now, so much depth, so much to do and learn. Not this brain rot can’t think for yourself easy tutorial stuff coming bo6. It was so rewarding to learn and be like omg ! That’s what u do. Fun to learn and do together a challenge. I’m not very good at zombies, I could maybe get to round 25 alone in bo2/1 but I can get high rounds easily in Cold War/bo4 and I’d just be bored. No adrenaline nothing rewarding. Bo6 liberty falls looks like a mobile shooter game map. I’m happy I still have stuff to learn about from Bo 1-3. Imo there’s no style to the new zombies, nothing unique, it is boring to play and way too easy. Or tidies for no reason, weird tidies changes like the armor. Bo4 was alright and awesome imo compared to where things are now. I don’t get why everything has to be so dumbed down and diluted. Cold War is okay but it’s just not zombies. Zombies was meant for zombies players who enjoyed the mode obv it won’t be for everyone but there’s so many people that love it. Why can’t some cod games have the new odd warzone zombie formula & the old formula in other games? Like how we have infinite warfare zombies, ww2, exo etc

I do feel I am somewhere in the middle of the road when it comes to what I want or am content with in zombies. Here's my list of likes to dislikes of various mechanics and facets of zombies:
What I like - Loadouts, Aether Crystal Upgrades(Bops 6's perk upgrades seem better than Cold War's), Weapon Kits(Loved Them In Black Ops 3),
Neutral - Salvage, Weapon Rarities, No Perk Limit, Scorestreaks(They are fun but made the game quite easy at times, even in higher rounds. Then again, so do stationary traps.),
Meh - The New Point System(I prefer the old ways where melee gives more points, but believe headshot kills should reward players with more points than a standard body shot kill), Spawn With Specialist, Ammo Caches(It doesn't ruin my experience but I could definitely do without it, I prefer hungering for a max ammo)
Dislike - Armor Plates, Tiered Pack a Punch,
What I want- I want a variety of maps. And by that I mean I don't want them all to be like Origins or Shadows of Evil(And I love those two maps). I want there to be some like Verrukt as well, small and enclosed with tight spaces. And honestly, I really wouldn't mind an Outbreak type mode again! Before anyone crucifies me, I started with Black Ops 1 zombies. But I remember chatting with other zombies friends back in the bops 2 days that it would be crazy cool if there was an open world type zombies experience within Call of Duty.
I just want a variety of maps and zombies modes, bring Grief back!! Onslaught is fun too.

Anyone who thinks BO4 is somehow bad clearly has only played for less than 10 hours in total, and with five hit health. Genuinely embarassing to call BO4 bad. Learn all the maps and then go play BO4 solo for a few days, then B02 for a few days. BO2 is a disaster in comparison.

Funny you say that because I played BO4 the “right” way. (According to how you seem to think it should be played, without any modifications or difficulty tweaks. And I even upped the difficulty for myself because it was still too easy) And no, I never even touched custom mutations after learning that you could alter the damage output of zombies to be low. There’s be no challenge in it, or fun for that matter. I have around 870 hours into zombies on it, and it’s still bad. It’s an absolute disaster compared to BO1 and BO2. And I play solo 96% of that time. It’s genuinely embarrassing to know that someone who says the crap you said is a “CoD zombies fan”. You’re a joke, and should be treated as such.
Cod Zombies Community is actually Immortal every period of no content or setbacks the Community revived itself automatically.

Now hear me out. Remove score streaks, remove spawning with lethals and taticals. Keep the loadout but limited to 1 weapon. Then when you spawn you spawn with a pistol and have the choice to draw a weapon and buy it. Like buried from bo2. Thoughts?

Multiplayer weapons incorperated into zombies
Back then: Claymores, trip mines, specialist weapons (in bo3), the occasional rocket launcher.
Now: Yeah, here's the entire multiplayer arsenal, killstreaks that you pick up off the ground, don't worry about grenades since you can just pick those up too. You can also just swap weapons around off the floor. There's also armor plates ontop of juggernog. Don't worry about dying, you can have every single perk in the game too. Now you can just extract whenever you want and win easy XP because everyone loves the warzone, extraction-shooter playstyle just jammed into any crevice of our dying franchise. But you'll take the bait because you bought the last game just a bit too late since you couldn't afford it at launch for $80 and now all your friends have moved onto the next call of duty
got a bit personal at the end there. (I had to stick with BO3 for the longest time back in middleschool bc I had no money to even get the newer games to play with my friends)
Yeah, the last bit had nothing to do with zombies, btw you can't pick killstreaks off the floor, but you can in the mystery box. Listen I know you dislike how killstreaks are in zombies but just think about them for a sec, they are badass asf but that's just my opinion.

It's cool that they tried bringing new things to reel in newer zombies players, but it just feels like the whole experience got soggy. especially with MWIII zombies. Honestly at this point if a different studio made their own Zombies with the traditional cod zombies fastors that made it fun they would steal all of the current COD fans.
This is going to be wordy and somewhat long comment, so if you don’t care, just pass over this one. For any TRUE zombies fan who IS passionate about the mode, please keep reading.
The reason Stanley is still a small zombies youtuber is because he’s actively defending this garbage. He just doesn’t resonate with the massive majority of real CoD zombies fans. Sure, death threats are far beyond the line, but trying to convince us we’re wrong, and that hate and negativity won’t help shows just how naive and truly non passionate he actually is about zombies. If he was truly as passionate as these fools say he is, he’d be bashing on it more than he defends it. People who think that what happened with him is disgusting are naive, gullible fools, who were spoon fed this shit and told they were supposed to like it. They are the flat earthers of the CoD zombies community. It’s sad to see that these people would rather play a zombies mode that’s more campaign than anything instead of playing and experiencing the TRUE CoD zombies. CoD zombies died with BO4 and AW zombies. Vanguard: trash. Cold War: not the worst, but still very underwhelming and disappointing. MWZ: what the fuck is even this? Why? This is not what anyone asked for. BO6: a failed attempt to return to the golden age by bringing back gobblegums and round based, only to fail miserably by ruining the rest of the mode. Face it. Zombies isn’t zombies anymore. It’s dead and gone, and it we’ll never be good again. Activision needs to stop publishing this crap, and the studios behind the mode for each release that zombies appears in, need to just let it die before they destroy it even further, further corrupting our memories of what zombies was, and what it’s truly meant to be. We’ve been given too many half assed, garbage piles of zombies modes in pretty much every CoD that featured the mode in the last 5 to 7 years. The community has been giving plenty of feedback to help the devs make zombies great again, but each and every year, they don’t listen to the community. And now BO6 followed that same trash pattern. I’m done. I’m giving up on Zombies. That’s the last straw. It’s not worth it anymore. The passion of us true fans doesn’t matter anymore. Our words fall on deaf ears at the studios. And from the last 7 years, it’s clear and evident that nothing will change. I’ve grown tired of it. Most of the community has grown tired of it. We were given promises year after year, only to have those promises broken. Stanley seems to not understand this, and that’s why many people were outraged by his “opinion”. Mr. RoflWaffles… I get that he was just trying to de-escalate the situation, but doing so could be seen as him also defending that trash game, and it’s sad to think he would, given how iconic and big he is in the zombies community, and most of his previous zombies content. Things aren’t what they used to be. Everything is falling apart, and the quality of these games, and the content creators, have drastically gone downhill. So, with all that said, I hope everyone who made it this far understands, and will continue to be passionate about zombies. As for me, like I said before, I’m done. The mode is gone, and will not be returning, so you’ll have to take my share of the passion. Maybe one day, the devs will actually listen.
As an OG Borderlands fan, I loved the borderlands movie. It wasnt the best, as u can tell the people working on it didnt play the game, but it was still good enough as a movie to make me enjoy it.
To be fair, I’ve only played a little bit of borderlands 2 with my stepsister, and haven’t seen the movie. I can only assume seeing Kevin hart that it was leaving a lot to be desired for borderlands fans. I’m glad it was still enjoyable!
Honestly the thing i agree most with is the community isnt dead, and WE WONT DIE!!! We are like the cockroaches of youtube no mater how hard Activision steps on us with the terrible games and support, we always get back up and show that we are an incredible community (At least most of us, theres some few bad apple in the bunch). Anyway, I think I feel like 85% of the community, not the warzone players who love this junk they have been passing off as "zombies" for the past several years. Black ops 6 zombies has potential to be glorious. Problem is people won’t just embrace gameplay changes. The community cries they want a “new game not the same old thing” yet they try and do new things and receive backlash. Personally Cold War zombies was great it was just the community not showing interest boggling it down, on top of a pandemic. This is not going to be black ops 3 zombies I don’t believe, and that’s fine… this is going to be black ops 6 zombies. Not to mention Cold War’s launch of zombies had many people pouring into the mode from multiplayer and warzone as well, and warzone is now the most popular mode in call of duty. Thus embrace this because to see the most support we can for our favorite zombies mode, it needs to be played! Hopefully black ops 6 can gain enough of a following track and be consistently played so the devs can see yes we enjoy zombies a lot. I think modern warfare 3 was a perfect wake- up call

That's it! Bo3 is what started the Downfall of zombies by adding gobblegums and perk a holic machine.
I’m pretty sure gobblegums were added for the huge spike in difficulty in the Easter eggs. I mean they added boss fights. Try and do Gorod Krovis ee without gums and you’ll see why they were added. Any time they are used outside of ee, ee speedruns, and high rounds they can upset the balance of the game. Public matches were ruined after a certain point when everyone started using shopping free every match and dashboarding when they downed.

Blacks ops 4 has its faults but at the same time it still has that feeling of zombies and still has some good maps, I think half the maps are good and the system sucks

I still have high hopes for bo6, i started playing back whenever bo2 dropped when i was 7 and i still love zombies to this day even to this day. I do miss the old pac, epic zombies songs, great storylines, difficult zombies, ect. While theyre listening i hope they get it together. Im on the same page as MrTLexify if the bo2 remake is trash or doesn't happen im probably just gonna stop playing call of duty all together.

I know it looks so much better in retrospect of what we get now, but remember how the community reacted to BO4's release. I had some fun with it, but I won't excuse those decisions they made. If you think it's good, then that's fair. Other than gameplay elements and hud, the maps and story were really great imo.
Pulled up this video on the side while playing BO4 and immediately rushed to the comments when I heard this. I agree that it was the beginning of the end for zombies, though. BO3 is still my favorite overall

Im a cold war defender ngl, i was never big on the story aspects on zombies although that was the part most people usually target when downplaying cold war. In terms of gameplay it didn't bother me that it took notes from warzone because the way they executed it didn't bother me. The game felt like a zombies fused with mw3 survival rather than warzone. Cold war was definitely not perfect clearly but i enjoyed it a lot more than i expected too, even with all my og zombies friends. I have played all zombies except vanguard and call of duty online. I also was a big fan of waw and bo3 modded zombies and played a ton of that with friends.
Sorry man but it's over , the story hit it's peak at Black Ops 3 and stayed there. The company leaned towards Battle Royale style of COD and destroyed zombies because a Fortnite style Zombies makes more money for them not having to put any passion into it or keeping the kings who created such a great story and universe for us to cherish.
“Huh I didn’t like that when I played it 4 years ago” and that is exactly what I’m saying, I’m not saying it’s a bad game im hoping to god it’s not, but when you see this gameplay and mechanics and hud you literally see Cold War, Cold War was just bland, tasteless boring zombies, and liberty falls doesn’t do a good job to justify itself either. High hopes for terminus tho
Same dude. If you compared the gameplay of BO1, BO2, BO3, BO4 you could not say the same.
The only reason that Cold War was bland for me were the maps, everything else was decent and sometimes even fun (yes I like killstreaks because they're fun) so hopefully Terminus's atmosphere is just like the original zombies atmosphere as that makes zombies zombies.
Look, I understand why people are sceptical but I'm excited for BO6 zombies...

Honestly I liked Cold War and MWZ a good bit. Granted im usually a high rounds person and just like exploring the maps. MWZ was a chill mode same with Outbreak. I could run around and get point to PaP at my own pace. Black Ops 6 i had expected what we have. It really sucked there were minimal updates and support for MWZ and I wish it was free as well. 70 bucks minimum just for DMZ but zombies is too much especially without that support. Good movie 🍿 also Stanley rules!

Still confused why we got health bars and the Fucken name above it to let me know that I am looking at a Fucken zombie 😂 I know you can turn them off but still really? Are some zombies named ghouls or some shit?
Ima tell you why that should be turned off by default. The way the game is when you boot it up without touching any settings is the way the devs intend for you to play the game. The fact that all this sh*t is on by default, means that they intend for the mode to basically have no immersion. If they were off by default, like how anyone who wants their player to feel fear would have it, then the setting to turn that stuff on should be found it the accessibility settings for those who want it.

I honestly never understood the hate of bo4, yes it’s different but not in a bad way in my opinion.
Most people think it deviated too much from the core mechanics and never really had a reason to. I wish Jason didn't leave because if he took our feedback and expanded on the newly introduced systems in BO4, it could've been pretty cool.
The funny thing about people calling us boomers and all them other names is that if we as a community were to actively push for new changes in multiplayer or war zone that the casuals of those modes don’t like, they would react the same as the zombie community.
I know alot of people dont agree with this but bo4 doesnt deserve the same hate as recent titles, i think if they had have released 2 maps off launch instead of 4 it could have been so much better but it was the last good zombies experience
Alot of people forget that over half of its content was dropped off the face of the earth and its still better than any cod up to now, i think bo6 has potential but so did every cod since 2019( we dont talk about vanguard and mw2)
