NICE! I work at The Kroft in the Hanger. I literally charge my ebike exactly where you guys started from. Theres an electric socket right outside the empy hardware store next the garden section next to a door. Love your vids dude. The bike i have is my first ebike and im planning on buying one that has a longer range, a bigger battery and a much more powerful motor

That’s cool your right there at the Hangar! Some of the Long Beach group rides usually stop there for lunch breaks. You can follow ECrewLA and LAPEV on FB to join some of the group rides in the future when you get your new EBike. It would be cool to see out on one of the rides. Thanks for watching!

A random pot hole or road debris would be the end of me. No mistakes allowed at those speeds. Good that you have the confidence and skills to ride and brake from 60 mph.

They don't have skills. They are just so dumb they don't realize how dangerous (and obnoxious) this riding is.

I have not yet gone over 40 mph on a PEV. At those high speeds, how long can you ride before low battery or motor overheating?

Most of the ebikes on this ride have extended batteries and upgraded controllers, so they can cruise at 35-40mph and get a range over 45 miles on one charge without overheating. The stock Surrons can usually cruise at 35-40mph and get a range over 20 miles on one charge. I have not experienced overheating on the motor or controller unless I’m exceeding 50mph for extended periods or climbing long steep inclines over 35-40mph (which is probably mostly due to my weight at 247lbs). Hope that helps.

One of their videos opens with a guy doing wheelies on a surron carrying his toddler in front of him. I also love how they constantly blow through lights, ride at speed through pedestrian only areas etc.
