I’ve delt with a line of duty death before sadly I was the last person they saw before passing we where at a 3rd alarm structure fire they roof had caved in we managed to rescue them but unfortunately they passed in scene 😢

After 911 a NY city citizen wanted to do what he could do to help. He "adopted" a nearby fire station. Started doing all their cooking, cleaning, shopping, mopping floors, anything a civilian could do. The firefighters could come back exhausted, eat a great meal, drop into bed. Check their equipment, and right back to the World Trade Center. I've often thought what a brilliant idea that was. (The man was gay, which shouldn't make a difference but to some people it does. So, credit.)
My dad is a firefighter and I thank him all the time. He went to all those big fires last year. Ya rip all the first responders 💙💙💜💜❤️❤️.
I am a jr firefighter I hope he stays safe and rank him for his service
