NCTZENS/MY HEYY my bad for not recognizing Taeyong in the dance practice. When I saw the different dancers I just assumed everyone was different. Watching it again and focusing on Taeyong I feel so dumb HAHA anyways just a sick performance all around. Hope you had fun watching :)
Taeyong shared that he created the choreo, taught it to Bada Lee, and then she figured out the rotation and positions for each member! I love how he went to SM, to nct and aespa’s managers and was like “I like this song, I want to make a stage for it”! And look how it worked out! Also, Jeno and Gi joining Taeyong to write their verses 😭 (I assume Hendery and Yang didn’t join because, well, korean. They could’ve written their verses in english too, but it honestly doesn’t matter lol) this song is a BOP 🙌🏻 thank you for the reaction 💕
Actually SM put this song as B track only. Taeyong like the song, and he talked to NCT & Aespa managers "how if the stage performance?", "I'll do the choreo" and there he is the choreographer. He make in 2 days, taught to Bada Lee, and they made the dance practice with dancers (there's Taeyong 😁). Taught the members in 2 days, so total 8 days only. You can watch W Korea content interview with Taeyong (he as Feb cover with Celine), he explained there.
Taeyong actually choreograph the dance and he collab with bada to arrange the formation and made the middle part. . Dance practice is with Taeyong, Bada Lee and dancers tatter lusher and trandy rock.
TAEYONG choreographed this in about 2 days, then taught it to Bada Lee (his choreographer friend), who then helped him with the formations. He talked about it in more detail in his WKorea interview. He managed to plan and create a choreo despite his already packed schedule. That's on being an Ace! Btw, this is not the first time he has choreographed. His major other work was for Bring The Noize but he has also choreographed Whiplash and his solo dance stages during award shows.
Taeyong's choreo and Zoo went viral after he posted the dance guide on his Instagram, where he is dancing with Bada and other choreographers are helping them out since it's a 5-people choreo.
They all kill it. I really love the girl who dances Giselle part. She is so good. she dances some parts that were powerfull but that it is not in the performance. A pity.

Would love for you to check out some of Taeyong's dance freestyles! I'll recommend his "Paris in the Rain" freestyle for one! It's thanks to him that we have this "Zoo" choreo and stage. After Taeyong posted the dance practice on his IG, it went viral. So viral that even the U.S. National Park service had an IG post about bisons that quoted some of Taeyong's lyrics in the first verse. lol
