Civil 3D: Creating Split Profile Views

When a proposed design includes areas with steep slopes, you can easily end up with profile views that are too tall to fit on construction drawings. At times like these, profile views need to be split such that the entire vertical design can be seen on the sheets. This video shows how to automate the splitting process using Civil 3D's Split Profile View feature.

Does this also work for splitting profiles horizontally for multiple drawings?

And If I have engineers that want the split profiles separated? Are there settings to move them apart or do I just need to make to individual profiles?

my stations along the bottom access disappear when i start splittings. they're on in the style.....why they no show?
