- It's already been like 3 months since my last upload! I'm so sorry I haven't been posting anything on this channel (I've been busy with other stuff), but I finally got to finish this edit, which took quite a while. As you can see, I tried to add transitions/fade ins and outs, and some wacky text lol. Also managed to get my hands on some higher quality season 4-5 clips. I guess being sick made me focus working on this again. Speaking of which, wish me luck on recovery, yeah?
I hope you guys enjoy this one. I wanted to try a calm and silly video this time around, and Connor seemed like the perfect character for it.

Out of all the things I did NOT expect to randomly see today, a Connor fan video was still amongst the least expected. But hell to the yeah!

Well I searched primeval and I am subscribed to you favourite episode season 3 episode 4 / Favorite male character either connor, danny, cutter,Stephen,Lester,matt/ Favorite Female characters Helen, abby, jenny, Sarah

I'm not really good with favorites, but...
Season 1: Episode 4, The emotional moment and the parasite idea. I wish they did more with the whole anomaly junction thing.
Season 2: Episode 1, Just the most fun and rewatchable episode from that season lol.
Season 3 (Difficult one for me): Episode 1 for how interesting it is, Episode 2 for the mystery and danny's appearance, or Episode 4 because the giganotosaurus scenes are just really nostalgic to me (One of the first things I saw from Primeval), and also the journalist stuff, aswell as jenny just being annoyed by danny being danny lol.
Season 4: Episode 1, It's just really interesting seeing abby and connor stuck in the cretaceous, getting back, reuniting with becker, and meeting matt and jess.
Season 5: Episode 5, I really just think Convergence is such a cool concept, and how everyone reacted to it. Not to mention I wanna see things would go if the Anomalies and the ARC became public knowledge.
Favorite characters:
Connor (For how silly and relatable he is. Also the character development and emotional moments made me like him more.)
Becker (I don't know, I just think he's really cool and sometimes funny.)
Cutter (Pretty cool and memorable character. I wish he got to meet the other characters like Matt, Jess, and especially Danny (I'd like to see how their dynamic would be if they ever met.). He's also got good chemistry with Lester and Connor.)
Lester (Connor is the silly type of funny while Lester's just another level of funny. I didn't like him alot, but making my music video tribute on him made me appreciate his character alot more.)
And honorable mentions are Stephen (He's basically Becker before Becker showed up. They would've been best friends haha), and Jenny (I don't know, she's like bossy but in a funny way).
For real it's like i wish the show didn't end on a cliffhanger if there's a season 6 here how I would set it out episode 1 connor has visions of cutter and stephen talking to him about what he's done and saying there are proud of then Danny comes out of an anomaly and stays in the present abby has a baby with connor jenny comes to the a.r.c and there's a raptor at the mall for nostalgia and connor still as visions and cutter and Stephen give him advice to capture the creature and Lester joins in with the action so danny is like oh well this should be fun and don't know after that
@@jedi.padwan We so need a season 6 or a reboot of Primeval. Maybe they could have a episode or two where some alternate timeline shenanigans happen with the anomalies (Like in New World or whatever) and there's a version of the arc team where cutter is still alive, but really old and meets with the og one last time. It would be really interesting to see! (And also I wish we knew what happened to Danny after 4x7. I can just imagine the Helen and Danny scene, but with Patrick this time, and Danny having to make the tough decision.)

I'm really sorry, I forgot to get back to you when I said that I would check out your other edits. I love this, this is brilliant. I'm from a community of editors that tends to produce high intensity, effect-heavy edits, so seeing a simple one where the focus is on capturing character moments is so refreshing. Can't wait to see more.
Yo it's alright, and thank you so much! I just keep my edits simple like the ones back in the late 2000's-early 2010's (Though I started using the transitions and fade ins for this one, and I dunno if I should continue using them as a sign of improvement or whatever.). What software do you use for your edits btw? I really loved all the effects and fade ins you did. I just use CapCut for mine lol.
@@FixelZXI like the transitions and fades, though I would probably advocate only using them when you feel they are truly appropriate (e.g. slow or contemplative part of a song, showing passage of time, etc.), as there are definitely times where hard cuts are preferable. I predominantly use Vegas Pro 17 (with a bunch of third-party plugins installed) to edit my videos; if Vegas doesn’t cut the mustard for a particular effect such as the slow-mo shot of Danny in my “Citizen Soldiers” edit, I’ll use After Effects.

Also question, but have you thought of wanting to make primeval edits/tributes again? Just wanted to ask you that since your edits are very nice.
@@FixelZX Haha, thank you. Yeah, I’m a member of a few editing communities. My profile picture, for example, was created by someone else to identify myself as a member of a group called Argentum which produces collaborative edits (or MEPs - “multiple editor projects”). There are also a few people I know who still produce _Primeval_ edits albeit at a similar rate as me, haha. I aim to create more, and a lack of time should be less of a factor now that I’m done with university, but my main issue when it comes to any edit I make is carrying it through to completion. I usually have a good idea for a sequence, but as soon as I try thinking beyond it, my mind blanks, and I just shelf the lot. That being said, I’ve made decent progress on a _New World_ edit, so we’ll see.
@@Cavan_ That's cool to hear! And I feel you with that one lmao. The hardest part when it comes to tributes and edits is deciding and trying to remember what clips to use (Not to mention my tendency to procrastinate).
I wish you luck on your new world edit, just don't burn yourself out too much, and focus on other stuff if you want. I'd actually like to see some new world edits, since I actually watched and finished first instead of the og lol.
Oh and also, I'm working on another tribute which is going to be a full version of the first edit I ever did back in january. I'll be releasing it on June 8 if you wanna see it!
