Hi I Worked in allergy, I’ve never heard of a once yearly shot. You actually go in weekly for about 18-30 weeks (that’s when you see full effects) then it goes to once a month (maintenance). This was my office and other places close to us so it could totally exist I’m just not familiar with it. It’s actually such a long term commitment it’s kind of a pain. /:
I was coming here to say this ! I use to get the shots and to start out even was going a couple times a week to get to that maintenance dose. But I was never told that you get to a yearly schedule, monthly was the "end goal".
