It's a nice bike for anyone. If you're a person that's wanting a toy bike next to your long rider this should be your choice. It's highly customize-able, for example I turned mine into a cafe bike with some personal touches like paint, a different seat, some LED glow bars, and added balanced weight to it. Don't add weight to this bike if you don't know what you are doing as it can either throw you off or drag you down. I only added about 30 lbs, throughout the body with 2.5lb and 5lb weights, so I don't get rocked around in wind as much. Also don't buy a seat, just add on to the one you have with some foam, cotton, and leather. Just take the seat to a sewer and tell them what you want. It's usually cheap and takes about 20-30 minutes depending on how busy they are. It cost me about $110 ($90 in materials) but that's much better than the usual 180-350 a premade is, and much more comfortable. Highly inadvisable, however this is a wheelie/stoppie machine. So if you're an experienced rider (like myself) you can really show off with this little thing without having the fear of a heavy bike falling on you if you're overdoing it. This bike is for everyone except people that are too big. No offense to anyone but this thing can't handle anything over 250lbs very well. It's possible, but it won't have that much go factor to it. Many of the people that say the bike takes 12 seconds to get to 60 are usually too big for it and they don't account their own weight into the decision.
Just bought an older Ninja EX250...perfect for my first bike but getting blown by the wind is like being on the Goliath at Six Flags...my heart drops to my nuts every time.
I think they are pretty comfortable really. I always struggle to go more than 100 miles on any bike before stopping but its no worse on a ninja than other bikes I've rode.I think two hours is going to give you a sore butt on most bikes. My 125 had a really comfy seat but I struggled on that.I think on some bikes you don't have as much weight on your backside but maybe then you feel back ache or leg ache first.
@Brian2094ify It all really depends on how long you are riding for. In my opinion, the bike was designed to help riders get used to the feel of riding a motorcycle, and that they didnt pay much attention to comfort. The only comfort issues i have is the seat, and this can vary from person to person. It may just be my posture. I took a 4 hour trip with it over the summer and I was stopping alot just to give my butt a break. After riding for about 2 hours it feels like you are sitting on bricks.
Ride on. Have you considered a front sprocket change to reduce high speed rpm's? On my '92 250 it takes less than an hour and $15. Check it out, cheaper than buying a new bike.
Baltuc but if you think about it we buy motorcycles because we want to reach are destination quickly and not to be harsh but who wants to spend 6 hours on a banana seat pedaling their ass off lol work smarter not harder
grew u riding dirt bikes somewhat experienced on a street bike and have ridden a ninja 250cc quite a bit.. getting mine next month and i cannot wait, question, hows it on the freeway and riding long distances with a passenger
austin valencia I'm on my cbr250, and riding on the freeway for me is no problem. Cruising is great at 70-80. anything above 80 your pushing the bike uncomfortably. As with for a passenger, i would stay on back roads. According to my gf, she doesnt wanna sit on the seat more than 1.5 hrs
I have a question for you I have a question for you I weigh about 195 6 foot tall I've had 1000 cc bikes in the past I'm 47 now and don't need the 150 miles per hour bike I just want to know if it can do 70 to 75 I don't run any faster than that I have about 30 to 40 minutes on the highway speed limit here is about 70 in Oklahoma I've seen videos where they run 90 or a little better I just need to go 70 to 75 and from what I understand and all the research I've done 9 and 10000 RPMs is nothing for this bike I'm sure it may be a little annoying what are your thoughts on it thanks Brian
Stock ninja 650r's are really uncomfortable on long rides to, 8 hour ride and I'm done lol. Don't know if my experience stands true fo the new 650's but the first gens have terrible seats and the handle bars give a bad vibration at low rpms.
You sir should just leave motorcycling entirely u sound Iike the biggest cager anti biker ever... The seats uncomfortable the rpm's are too loud? Loool are u serious? Having a loud exhaust can either determine if a car will hit u or not having a loud exhaust will make people more aware of the fact that there is something around them
i think he mean that for having a normal highway speed you need to rev it a lot, i mean, a R1 is way louder than ninja 250, but you can get the speed a ninja get at 11000 rpm at just 5000 so its more loud but at the same time its more like a sleeping beast, so you ride confortable, but riding at 10000 all time is like riding with a blender in your ear, all of us enjoy a nice sound when we acelerate, but doing the same sound for hours and hours just to get a normal traffic speed it turns it into shit
Plenty of bikers with loud pipes have still been hit by cars. Motorcycles definitely don't have the most comfortable seats either. fuck outta here. surface0surfer made valid points
Best of the Ninja 250s was the EX250. Riding position is nicely upright and the seat was fairly comfy too.

Thanks for your honest opinion. I live in Boquete, Panama where it's windier than hell for half the year. Your review was incredibly helpful!
I don't think it's windy in hell :/
Great video I'll probably be purchasing this as my first bike.
LMAO your laugh reminds me of Seth Rogan's

Nothing a Corbin seat can't fix lol
try riding 2 hours straight on a zx6r....ninja250r is so much more comfortable
Rogue Warrior hahahahaha try riding 200km on a bicycle (6h) ---MC riders are such crybabies lol
Baltuc but if you think about it we buy motorcycles because we want to reach are destination quickly and not to be harsh but who wants to spend 6 hours on a banana seat pedaling their ass off lol work smarter not harder

a lot of people I know ride with earplugs because the freeway noise is so severe that they can't I mean it's ruining their hearing

@myfirstnameistim Got the new sproket put on about a month ago, keep watching for a video update
You should upload MotoVlogs a lot more.
Can u buy a diffrent seat if it really is uncomfortable
+King Taj yes, i changed the seat on my Ninin (250r) with another seat that much softer & cushy...
Harmain Saka Gea may I ask what seat?
I coated it with MBTech Synthetic leather material and also some foam, then knit it..
is 3,200 too much for an 09 250r with about 4,000 miles?
A little bit. I could get a 2013 Ninja 300 with about 5k miles for 3,500
can you upgrade your 250 for 600 but keep same the bike?
No the build is different
how unconfortable is it?
Change your sprockets man for a longer gear ratio you didn't have to sell your exhaust
Sounds like Hank Hill
i have a 03 250 ninja and i hit 60 at like 7~k in 6th, 70 i'm around 8k, 80 is like 10k but why the fuck you need to hit 80 on a 250 anyways
Can anyone with real knowledge tell me if a 2007 Kawasaki ninja 250r is worth buying for $1,200? Thats how much I am paying for one?
yea thats a pretty good price the 2008s go for around 2-3 grand so thats not so bad
Your laugh is goofy lol.
+Žilvinas Deveika very! haha
Lol you sound like Seth Rogen
Better sproket
wtf are you talking about sir?
oops lost me
no such thing as to loud!
Seth Zink you're right but there is such thing as too loud.
