J.T is probably the best thing to happen to the rangers. Lit a fire under some of the roster that has underperformed. I was happy to see Vesey out there last night. No reason he should be a healthy scratch. He performs. And I consistently see him analyzing the puck movement, looking for a breakaway

And how about the enthusiasm displayed afterwards? What a relief to get as far away from New York as possible -- it showed.
Among forwards, only linemate Connor Garland had more time on the ice than Chytil.
Mika in the blue paint is a direct result of JT being on this team now.
If we keep getting the JT effect Mika and Igor gets his game figured out...we might not just make the playoffs but could even do some damage. Rangers are always more dangerous as underdogs! Either way, you're right Jon. This game was fun and you could see the players had fun too. Keep the fun rolling!
I remember the Rangers in the early to mid-1980s and late 1990s (just before the dark years) always pulling off playoff upsets. One of my favourite years was 1986 when we beat Philly and Wash who had both finished more than 40 points ahead of us. Too bad we ran into a rookie named Patrick Roy in the conference final. 1997 was awesome too with Gretz and Mess together when we upset Florida and the Devils before injuries caught up and we lost to Philly in the conference final. If we do get in this year, a lot of teams will not want to face us with the kind of offence and goaltending we can throw at them.

May be mean to say, but I hope the Rangers hold Vesey through the trade deadline if they get a few wins here and playoffs become possible. He’s very valuable depth.
Hopefully this win spurs another streak. They need to win 8 or 9 of the next 10. They can't afford any more losing streaks...like the last 3 they just went through. Focus on forechecking, winning board battles, and blocking shots.
Just put Jimmy on waivers.
