This film is hilarious. It is also sweet, and firmly rooted in Japanese sensibilities. However, that doesn’t take away from the film’s drama and its lessons on relationships. The plot is a serious one that revolves around the importance of understanding between two people in a relationship. Amazing movie

I actually thought Chie was faking deaths everyday so that when she actually dies from what I presume would be illness, her husband would think it is one of her daily pranks thus, playing along to the prank only noticing her death minutes after playing along her "prank".
