Your vase came out beautifully Mandy… I love that subtle colour!! And, although the mould was scratched… it doesn’t take away from the look at all!! Also… even if you put the eyes in first, they will still float… as they are little bubbles filled with air! You either have to completely fill the vase with the eyes, so they can’t float… or put them in, in layers… wait for each layer to get tacky, then add the next layer… don’t let the resin cure completely, or you will be able to see a line between each layer!! I hope that makes sense?? And… I’d love you to try again with alcohol inks in the eco resin… I had typed a whole explanation (of how to do it) here in the comments… &, before I posted it, I decided to go & find Claire’s videos to help you… consequently, when I came back to your comments… all my typing had disappeared!! 🙄 But that’s ok… because the two videos below explain/show it much better than I did anyway!! So, if you just search in YT for ‘Jesmonite and alcohol inks’… the first video that shows up (well it did in my search anyway!?) is titled: Jesmonite and alcohol inks testing alternative techniques (by Claire’s Crafty Corner)… and a few videos down is her other one, which is titled: Testing alcohol inks in Jesmonite with spectacular results. They are both only about 15 minutes each and it will show just how easy it is to get beautiful pieces!! I want to see you succeed at colouring your eco resin so badly… and I really think this will help you!?! Love ya oodles! ♥️♥️🇦🇺
You try using the glue trick too❤❤❤
Layer by layer is how I do mine.
