Venus in Cancer here and this description is possibly the opposite of how I relate in love. Doesn't resonate one bit. Just wanted to share to let others know how off your birth chart can actually be. It's consistent only some of the time in my experience. The most attractive characteristic in a partner for me is hands down kindness. I've never looked for or admired a person for their status or power. In fact I tend to stay away from arrogance and superficiality. It may be due to my moon in Sag. Also one thing I do look for is depth of Spirit and Emotional maturity. 🤷 I appreciate your interpretation thought. It sound more like you are describing a Capricorn Venus more than myself. This is interesting. I haven’t learned anything about Vedic astrology but now I want to lol. I’m use to western. I’m a Venus and Mars in cancer in the 11th house. Virgo ascendant with cancer sitting in the 11th house. So when you talked about friends and groups it rang extremely true for me.
For a woman, Venus as a karaka doesn't represent a specific person like it does for a man (wife, girlfriend), so the general indications apply for women.

But Venus also gets 'starved' because the Moon is an enemy to Venus, so you have to judge the effects of Venus very carefully. When antardasas of the Moon run, Venus will feel starved, when antardasas of Jupiter run, Venus will feel delighted. Also note that Jupiter and Venus are the Brahmin planets and they are both within a Brahmin sign, Cancer. Jupiter and Venus are two opposing cosmic forces on account of their mythology, so sometimes when they are together they can cause great turmoil in a person's life, usually having to do with spirituality or dealing with death.
