This sounds like a mashup of the Team Aqua/Magma Hideout theme and the Psychic encounter theme with the instruments lmao; they were both songs made by Go Ichinose tho, which also made Gladion's battle theme, so I'd say it's very appropriate instrumentation for this haha Damn nice job man!!!

This song was begging for a GBA remix; the slap bass fits right in :P Also, appreciating the instrumental variety; contrary to popular belief, Hoenn is not all trumpets :P Overall, great stuff here. I'd put the Gladion battle theme in my top 5 battle themes from S/M, and you already know how much I love the R/S/E soundfont when done right :P Easy like and favorite.
The irony of people talking about Hoenn's OST having "trumpets" is this: they're not trumpets, they're *French* *horns*. Hey, that could be why ORAS was Gen 6 and not Gen 5 - maybe the composers wanted the remakes of the games with French horns to be in the same generation as the region based on France.
