Having Tyrrell ancestors, I was curious about this tower house castle and drove to the gate, five or ten years ago. At that stage, I understood that it had been occupied following restoration. I was tempted to go into the garden and look at it from outside but did not wish to intrude on the occupant's privacy. It would be great to hear how the project proceeded. Even if it never became a museum, at least it was restored.
