Sometimes Rag's psychological impact is greater than its practical one. If you're already ahead and have a way to support your economy, then just the possibility of hitting Rag can give your opponent an anxiety disorder.
Supp extra smart here, Rag is always a risk; no need to click it while u have healthy eco and map control, but yeah its idea causes panic and counter infratry sucks vs noninfantry norse army.
I know it's not exactly the same, but my grandpa has played at least one match of Age Of Empires every single day since 1997. He said the only days he didn't get to play a game was on my birthday, the week that he was hospitalized for a heart attack, the day his mother in law passed away and one week where the remnants of a knocked out power out for four days. He now has a laptop dedicated to AOE for power outage or traveling situations. That is some serious dedication! Somewhat related, I asked my mom to buy a copy of Age Of Empires for my 6th birthday, she mistakenly bought Age Of Mythology instead, 19 years later I'm still here, though not nearly as dedicated or obsessed as grandpa is 😂
Watching BoIt T.v again Arkantos? You talked a little in this video about how many dwarves Thor needed to maintain unit production. I think a video or series where you bust out a spreadsheet, and talk about that type of theory would be really fascinating. I'd also be interested in another cast of a ~1600s game (The legend of Muantea and Rafioca); A Return of the Gods Aztec mod tier list series; high level players playing fun scenarios and taking them too seriously. Finally, you should get a modder to create a no-auto queue mod that you can use against willing opponents (voobly or EE or both). I think that if you were to demonstrate how much less predictable the game could be at the highest level, your arguments would be well served. To prove the naysayers right, you'd have to boringly crush Kimo, Matreiuss, and Skady with APM; can't wait to see it either way.
While i agree with you All i can do for now to help you is tell you that such spreadsheet exists in his discord Its for every civ and every type of unit Somebody there really did a thorough job I personally dont like discord, but boit's channel is expectedly civil and not toxic Hope that helps
Hi @BoIt T.V Thanks for the daily content of my favourite game :) I have a question. Which version of the game is this ? The one i can get on steam or it is some balanced version made by fans ? Thanks for reply and keep up the good work :)
He enjoys seeing proper play, especially when it is a little out of the box. Being excited about a player making smart moves isn't really biased, is it?
@@NotFlappy12 It is not, Boit has shown in live casts/ recordings he´s very far sighted when comes to decision making, thus he acknowledge good strats/ moves without hesitation as fast as he spots something, remmber his all world known phrase "It is what it is". Besides that, Boit warns at the very beggining: This is the best map for Thor.

Why are Greek players so fun to watch? My favorite Civ's by far!
Cuz heroes and prostagma
Greeks have some of the coolest looking units. Minotaur, Hippikon, Hypaspists etc.
@@RandomStuffPT and me gulome
honestly probably had more time spent on them since aom campaign is greek oriented

I love you Boity, but this cast was a tiny bit biased, a rare thing to see on this channel
I'm not really sure what you mean by biased. I try not to 😬
I don’t really think this game was biased tbh. Sounded like any other cast he’s done
