Question: it is a hard to occur circumstance to get a marble near the mouth just to be finished off at the end of each stage? I know it may not reduce greatly the in-real time clock speedrun but if it would be something consistent to achieve, would you pull it off?
The main speedrunning strat is to pull the balls away from the screen so that they disappear right when Zuma bar is full and you don't need to destroy them manually. Your idea is absolutely correct but the runs are timed by the in-game timer so it's completely unnecessary. However, when I occasionally run this game I try to achieve that because I use LiveSplit for real time.
Shoot quickly and accurately, that's all I struggled with stage 12 until I beat it. The only levels that need special combos maybe are iron frog levels
