    hai...how to establish importance and performance data from tourist satisfaction scale (strongly agree to strongly dissatisfied) survey? reallyyy appreciate tht if u can help us

      I think if you want to measure the importance of (tourist satisfaction) the scale may be from (very low to very high) important to be satisfied. While the performance depends on the actual situation for (tourist satisfaction) and it could be also (very low to very high) satisfaction he/she received in that situation.

      You can distinguish between importance and performance through your survey. This kind of analysis starts by building a decent paper or electronic based survey.

      Median values as a measure of central tendency are theoretically preferable to means because a true interval scale may not exist. Please check the study of Silva and Fernandes (2011, p312)
