Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s…..my favorite colors were green, orange, yellow to decorate with as I became so interested in Decorating at an early age of eleven! Thanks to my granny who owned an Antique Store and taught me how to refinish furniture as well as many other things like sewing and keeping a garden. A look into my past and I still love those color combinations but only in certain applications. I’m a white chippy gal by heart. I found it very refreshing seeing all my favorite colors in your veranda! As always you’ve knocked it out of the park in your brilliant ways of decorating ❤

Tracey your porch looked amazing after you'd dressed it. Those two chairs were lovely, and the re-vamp of those dining chairs, well done they turned out beautifully. And then what with all those faux plants, and amazing soft furnishings, especially the Cushions, give thanks to the sewing machine. But in the end it all comes together, beautifully, and I loved it. Wow... that view off the veranda is breathtaking! Do you do all the garden work yourself? I do feel green is a neutral,in the garden, for sure. My favorite pieces are those gorgeous barley twist distressed chairs you always have out here. Your storage unit has so many wonderful furniture and accessories. Like having your own store. Those faux palms in the over sized baskets ,really just make the perfect statement . All the touches of green just speak spring! You are one hard working lady. I hate painting!! So you are my idol! Watching you decorate is like watching an artist paint a scene. Just when I though it couldn't get any better.... you put the green candelabras on the table! Be still my heart. Color is my business (I dye yarn and wool), and I’ve always said green is a neutral. After all, Mother Nature uses it for leaves and foliage that serve as a backdrop to every color bloom, bark, and all living things. 💚 Beautiful work.

I’ve got to admit when I first saw the green paint I really wasn’t sure as I love aged whites, pale greys and light grey/blues but I’ve got to say I love how it all turned out and looks so good with all the greens in your garden. Well done with the sewing, I’ve made my own cushion covers for years ( envelope style ) as it’s so easy and yes, you’ll find it’s addictive! 😝

In 7th grade we had to take sewing, hated it. I got a" D," my projects, they were really worth an" F", but, I did finish them (sort of) LOL! My mom was a great seamstress, go figure! Love the green color and the veranda is beautiful! We have antique & leaded glass windows that we actually installed in our walls to add charm to our house. Love them!
