Ive been a social worker since 2019 I’ve never been a permanent social worker. Am currently agency social worker. I like the flexibility of being an agency as well as the PAY 💰 am in good money, can go on holiday whenever I want as many days as I want and weekly pay. I cant lie have been offered permanent roles but I find it difficult to accept coz the pay really that great in comparison to agency pay. I have more control over my life and can leave via 1 weeks notice if I don’t like the structure of the local authority am assigned to. Permanent your much more restricted with lesser pay. You can’t go wrong with agency the work is allways there and if your hard working you can’t go wrong with agency. Just reduce the amount of times you take off and only take days off for emergencies
Love this video, this is my second year in child protection and looking to go agency soon in a different sector. A video on taxes and umbrella company option would be great video to give us an overview. Thanks for this video. 😊
