Police are investigating the murder of Kaioume Baksh, a 34-year-old laborer from New Market Street, Rose Hall Town, Corentyne, Berbice. The incident occurred on Sunday night around 10:30 PM in the Portuguese Quarters area.
The suspect, identified as Harrol Simons, a 45-year-old security guard from Mibikuri South, Black Bush Polder, is currently in police custody.
