      Maybe the reason why the radio doesnt play this is because Nasir never wanted to make contracts and deals with anyone, he was waiting for everyone to do the music and everything for him, which is why no one had interest in making him a record anymore and making him official.

      @@briandawkins7108 Yeah Nas rookie era from 1991-94 was a great run . Underrated run because he really didn't do a lot of interviews at that time. He didn't really fuck with a lot of people at that . Just chill with the homies in Queens reading books trying to get self knowledge.

    I've always said that I thought his demo tape went harder than Illmatic itself. Illmatic is a classic in itself, but the demo tape gives me different emotions...the ones I think Nas was trying to push through his first stuff...

    this was a demo tape from 95. between "illmatic" in april of 94 and "it was writtin" in june of 96. i used to think this tape from from late 91 but naw its not...his voice didnt sound like this entirely back then

    It says "Produced by Chris Winston in 1995" but Chris Winston was born in 1994. So either there is another old school Chris Winston that I couldn't find, or he's such a prodigy that he actually made this beat at 1 years old (I doubt it), or it wasn't him, but someone else who produced this beat.

    werd i made a video to Deja Vu....this is like my favorite nas track next to "The World Is Yours" i remember thinkin the time i first listened to it,i was vibing,and i remember picturing myself hoodied up wit my timbs walking through the snow it was a grey sky in the winter..i seen my nigga smokin a blunt in the car n he rolled the window down n let the smoke out, i looked up and saw sun just barley commin from above the clouds and Nas said "Heres A Toast To My Foes Trees And Women" ..my vision
