I still cannot understand why I gaze riveted at the screen watching all these, and the feeling of satisfaction is equal at this end too, when the ear is finally cleaned out! It’s simply fascinating! Thankyou clients and dr alike for sharing with us. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for sharing this Doctor! A big kiss and hugs to you and your staff from Milan, Italy. Ps: we need Docs like you! Congrats for being so nice towards all your patients! We love you here !!!
+Auburn Medical Group I have subscribed a looong time ago, only I am too shy to leave comments! But now I am so flattered you answered!! Have a good day Doc! And thank you again !
Jana, it was frustrating to have to do all of that to get this one out. Part of the problem was the difficulty created by the unusual angle of his ear canal.
I just flushed two globs ab that size out of my both of my ears!!! The right ear was a bit black. The left ear was more golden. I'm only 27. Happens once a year/been happening since I was in my early twenties. It can happen to anyone!
+Auburn Medical Group I can't get enough of your videos. Seriously, post anything and everything your patients will allow. lol I look forward to Tuesdays and Fridays. :)
So happy for Glen! (He did barely smile!!) Are you related to Glen? You have quite a few people on with perfect noses. (Artistically speaking) Yours, and your nephews' (?) are perfect.
Wow what a chunk! That almost looks like it should be in a medical museum to show the inner workings of the ear lol, cool video Dr Vaughn I've never seen that equipment before which looks snazzy, do you think the irritation happened because of water pressure? Maybe it was going a little too fast? It's definitely more high tech than Dr Oller's elephant ear equipment, you'll make him envious lol X Claire X
I do not know what Jobson's Horn is, at least not by that name. We do not have suction in our office. We don't have any procedures that can't be done without it. Sometimes I check the prices and consider getting suction.
colloidal silver is considered a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is used in the world of alternative medicine as a treatment for a variety of conditions. It is not recommended for use internally. Apparently, the patient thought it would be an appropriate treatment for the discomfort in his ear. We do not recommend colloidal silver for any condition.
Great video Dr Vaughan! It's so satisfying when all the wax that has been causing trouble (along with the Silver component, aaarrh I forgot its proper name ) has been given its marching orders LOL. I m guessing the gentleman feels so much better now and won't be using that silver stuff in his ear canal any time in the near future 😂. Sending best wishes from Wales.
With co-pays and deductibles increasing so much in recent years, it doesn't seem reasonable for a patient to have to make three different appointments to clear a partially blocked ear canal. Why was the course of treatment so conservative? Why not use an instrument to partially release the waxy plug before attempting to flush it out?
Are you sure this was colloidal silver and not ionic silver? I've never heard of this happening with true colloidal silver.
I still cannot understand why I gaze riveted at the screen watching all these, and the feeling of satisfaction is equal at this end too, when the ear is finally cleaned out! It’s simply fascinating! Thankyou clients and dr alike for sharing with us. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yay!! I'm happy for both of you that it finally came out! It was totally satisfying to see.
It was really good when that chunk all came out in one piece.
adbaker74 lol you follow the same doctors I do!!!
Doctor looks like a great guy! Really professional on the removal too.
Thank you for sharing this Doctor! A big kiss and hugs to you and your staff from Milan, Italy. Ps: we need Docs like you! Congrats for being so nice towards all your patients! We love you here !!!
Thank you, Cinzia. This is our first time seeing you here. Please be sure to subscribe and share.

thanks.
I am glad that came out of his ear.
Ahhh, great job! I feel so refreshed and I bet he does too! I just love to see the big glob come out!
I actually hoped for more of a reaction from the patient, but he appreciated it non the less.
Third time's the charm. I can't even imagine how frustrating it must have been to remove this...but extra satisfying when it did come out👍🏼😊

Hello dr Vaughn from my self here in England . I'm not medical but I love to watch all your videos ! Thank you for educating us dr v xx
it always amazes me how many people enjoy our videos from places so far from our office. I love being able to share this with the whole world.
It's great that you film them and your patients are so obliging . Keep the videos coming :) x
So cool, I've used this continuous water irrigation method on my patients for several years and they all love it! And of course so do I.👍🏼
Lanene, how do you get the tubing dried out between uses?
So satisfying, glad he's feeling better. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you got to see the conclusion.
THAT was soooooooooooooo satisfying!!!! What a relief!!
The more difficult the journey...
Bingo....Ahhh I could do this kinda job everyday and love it. great job doc as always 💞
Thanks, Elisha. Wish you could have been there.
love watching these before bed💤
The perfect way to see the day out.
whew that was a cliff hanger! Thanks for the speedy follow up!
We were glad to be able to get it done quickly.
I've always liked these ear wax videos! Thanks for making such interesting content! :D
I'm glad you like it. We'll do another one.
Auburn Medical Group Yay!
They look like twin brothers :))
I just flushed two globs ab that size out of my both of my ears!!! The right ear was a bit black. The left ear was more golden. I'm only 27. Happens once a year/been happening since I was in my early twenties. It can happen to anyone!
Until I started watching your videos, I had no idea people had this much trouble with ear wax build up.
Until people started watching my videos, I had no idea people would watch so many videos of patients with ear wax build up.
+Auburn Medical Group I can't get enough of your videos. Seriously, post anything and everything your patients will allow. lol I look forward to Tuesdays and Fridays. :)
We will keep up our end if you keep up your end.
New gadget is neat Dr. Vaughan!
We have had it for years, but it is not the most practical.
So happy for Glen! (He did barely smile!!) Are you related to Glen? You have quite a few people on with perfect noses. (Artistically speaking) Yours, and your nephews' (?) are perfect.
I am very quick to say: "I am not perfect."

Thanks, Claire. It is a neat device, but it takes too long to dry out between uses.
Wow... that must of been reliving to have done...
I am scared to see this but headis rbesly fine of you I am happy of bounty of you
Nice to see that new machine operating. Do you have microsuction available or access to a Jobsons Horn? Maybe only audiologists use those?
I do not know what Jobson's Horn is, at least not by that name. We do not have suction in our office. We don't have any procedures that can't be done without it. Sometimes I check the prices and consider getting suction.
wish glen had a smile lol
That was so worth the wait!!!!
We are glad that it satisfied.
I had a doctor use an actual Water Pik to irrigate my ear once.
They are good for a variety of uses, but a proper bidet can't be beat.
LOL! And now I'm picturing someone awkwardly holding their ear over a bidet!
I'm sorry but what exactly is colloidal silver, and how did it get into his ear?
colloidal silver is considered a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is used in the world of alternative medicine as a treatment for a variety of conditions. It is not recommended for use internally. +Auburn Medical Group Thank you very much for your response. There again I learn something useful! Keep the videos coming. Thanks again!

Thanks, Francesca. I hope you have a sunny day in Cardiff today.
Oh yes oh yes it finally came out
Great video, so satisfying!!!
Cannot believe you didn't lay him down for that.
That was great work Doc ☺
Thanks, Lori.
love your vids there so cool and weird at the same time but I like them
Glad you like them. We hope viewers learn about real world medicine by watching our channel. Please subscribe if you haven't already.
I wonder if some of these old guys serve in the war . Like the Cold War or the Vietnam war .
another great video! :)
Thanks, Holly.

Can someone tell me why do they use this silver stuff ?? Anyone !? Thank you
Heather Bowlan It is promoted as a natural antibiotic.
The silver was not the problem , the damn wax was....
Dr, did you have to treat his irritated eardrum? How long would it take to clear up?
It is left to heal on its own.
Great job doctor x
Thanks, Dawn. I'm glad you liked it.
Bingo! Nice job 👍🏼
Yes, finally!
Good job
Thanks, Aysha.
Oh my !
you such a good goc😀
*doc
Why don't you just use a curet or something like that?
It can't get deep enough in a canal angled as acutely as this one and still allow visualization.
Did you take his colloidal silver away? Using it to save a trip to the dr doesn't seem to be working for him. Great video Dr Vaughan
I didn't take his away, but a patient once gave me three bottles of colloidal silver.
Hmm...Does anyone know if the silver a drop or a supplement?
Drops
+Auburn Medical Group ahh! That explains alot!
Yay for Glenn 😄
Don't you just fell great for him?
He’s wearing the same shirt 😂
At 2:55 did anyone else think the ear wax looked like a little badger?
The same yellow tank top! :)
How could you tell? I was wearing a shirt and tie over it.
... Oh, you meant the patient.
+Auburn Medical Group 🙈
I don't know if you answered this already but what is colloidal silver?
I was going to copy and paste the answer, but I can't find it in the other comments.
Man up and use a 1/2" drill bit!
It's been done, although I don't think the guy used a 1/2 inch bit.
is Aburn Medical Group in America
Holly Wakker yeah, auburn is in Alabama.
Sam Gt No, it's in Illinois.
Sam Gt They are in Auburn California
I'm not that old
He's a vette guy huh?
it took two videos to get to the end it was very long and very boring
I bet it felt good when the nugget came out.
Yes
♡♡♡♡♡
First
Colloidal Silver is just incredibly stupid.
I don't recommend it for anything.
True, I saw an interview once with someone who uses this stuff for everything, meaning multiple cups a day. The Yearlong exposure turned his skin blue.
