I used to be an actor (background extra) in Hollywood and I lost a big role because of “overacting”. The mom who lost custody was obviously lying during her interrogation and it’s clear because of her overacting. Someone acting/pretending to be sad/mourning is easy to spot because saying her child’s father (who was murdered in cold) “beat the hell out of me” is not a natural response. It’s also obvious when there’s no tears shed, when someone is _genuinely_ crying it often makes onlookers cry as well. Pretending/acting like you’re crying doesn’t produce the same effect.

The two who didn't commit the actual murders get charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Usually, the person who's idea it was to kill someone (Charlene) but have someone else do it, gets the largest sentence. If it weren't for Charlene, they'd still be alive. But since she testified against her ex husband in his trial, they gave her a deal. A lost of states automatically give life (or the max # of years) without parol to people who go on trail for murder & are found guilty.
Bron's role is minimal, he cooperated with investigators after the lie detector test (which are faulty at best), and also testified at the trial, so he also got a deal. It wasn't Bron's idea to kill Josh, but he was approached by them & he helped them for the murders to be carried out. The DA didn't really care about Bron that much, he had a minor role, but his testimony would be a MAJOR in the trial! And that's what the DA really wanted & he knew that. I'm surprised he even got out having been a cop! Cops/ex cops don't do well in prison!

    • @Aflacist

@@catherinepetersen3789pretty sure there’s been cases where a robbery goes bad the driver gets the same sentence as the person who shot and killed people during the murder. The cases that I can vaguely remember were black and not white but who knows why the cases were treated differently 🤥

That's not normal and it would take very extreme circumstances for society to tolerate a woman being cut out of her children's lives in that way.
