I have the same model shown in the demonstration and it worked the first day I got it and after about a month I never fired it the battery died , I ordered two more battery and then it worked it seemed the batteries deplete whether you use it or not which don't make any sense I put another new one that I ordered thinking it was depleted it is still not functioning what you make me think the batteries do not have a shelf life so why would they send you battery that will not laugh even if you don't use the gun?
I was trying to figure out how to get a newer Pulse + battery housing module to put in my older Taser Pulse (original model). Axon says they do not sell the newer style battery pack with swap able CR123 Batteries. Both models use the same battery.
@@falloutpropguy No sir they are not exactly the same. Both battery packs use the same internal batteries, but the older battery packs are soldered and sealed. The new battery packs for the pulse + has replaceable CR123 batteries. Easier to replace. 💯

My taser pulse+ will not turn on, I replaced the Duracell batteries inside the pack with new ones ($18 for 2). Still does not turn on. Should I get a new pack from taser for $40 before sending it to them? What would you do? Their return policy is really quite strange, they may dispose of it without warning if it cannot be repaired, the warranty is for 90 days but I've had it for 10 month and still making payments to Axon.
Yes you should buy the battery pack it self but for sending it bag if that new battery pack doesn't fix the problem taser will take care of you there customer service is amazing never open taser battery packs and replace the batterys inside with aftermarket ones

I do collect less leathel wepons as a side hobby and have had more of them used on me than i probably should have the taser is extremely effective as long as it makes a proper connection a gun will always be the best bet when it comes to self defense but i legitimately do believe a tru TASER is a good option/ secondary sence this video has ben posted i have moved into the gun industry as a firearms instructor and safty officer and can still whole heartedly recommend the taser pulse x2 x26 ect for self defense especially in states that dont allow ccw of guns ( sorry for spelling and lack of punctuation haha)
how the hell did your battery just fall out? I cant mine out without pliers and even then I feel like it's gonna break. I have the clear pulse+
you have to squeeze the grip and it should slip out.

@@mmmpasta1400 Even though I do carry a gun I keep a X2 in my small back pack and some defence tech oc foam as well as my trama kit and spare mags
