If there is one thing FFG gets right in their LotR games, that's the character and location art and this game is not an exception. Thanks for showing the cards slowly as it makes it much easier to read them.

With the game completed with Spreading War.., my question to you is...do you bother to combine the games to a insert,or just take from the individual boxes? Obviously for portability, if you want to take it with you for a long vacation trip,two is better than three. Add speed to a table for set up..., but, your opinion; is it worth it to do?
I combined them into an insert. I think I used eRaptor at the time but I believe there is probably a more cost effective solution out there. They have one though.
After packing expansions into the insert (I think beyond what it was meant to hold I got all of it minus an elephant mini into the box lol So pretty good!
Just watched your video of how you packed the Core and Shadowed expansion. Three , down to two boxes makes good sense in that now I can add another game(s) for packing games into the suitcase...like Star Wars: Imperial Assault. I use your videos for recommendations l have my liked IP's, of course.Star Wars, LotR, Batman. Adding SW:IA, with expantions into a insert for even more diverse playability. I am moving overseas, and while qoing through the residency process...,taking a suitcase of games I want to play. Marvel Champions( w all expansions and packs)LotR: Journeys, all three games, Star Realms: Frontiers, Star Wars Deck Building Game( solo variant version), Arkham Horror Core will fit into one suitcase.PLENTY of diversity for a long stay.Already have another suitcase ready for a return visit home to bring.All games, I chose to learn to play...came from watching your videos. MUCH appreciate the content. Looking to add Final Girl to round out my Series ...which will come with one of my favorite games,as it was my very first one to play, Batman TAS with all the Kickstarter goodies. I didn't get this because many said It wasn't that good, that it didn't have enough character too it. They felt it was just Descent but with the Lord of the Ring Title on it. This expansion seems like it might get rid of that problem, if you had it.

I found the different tile layouts really annoying, making it super hard to go through all of it to find the correct one. Sometimes it felt like I was more searching for tiles and laying them out instead of playing the game. Guess that is the downside of the way the app works and things gradually unlock instead of one big setup.
@@RollingSolo i am quite used to a premium on english "original" version of boardgames on german amazon, but this seems overkill, even with the 3% VAT discount currently till end 2020 in germany, guess i have to wait then :D either way, keep up the great work. stay healthy over ther in CA
I will never buy another Tablet game, unless they give you the .apk (the app installer, so you can store it or download it). They should give you not only the installer but the installer must contain all the DLC. We all know that in less than 5 years, you won't be able to play these games.
Hey MDS! Nothing wrong with your decision. It’s yours to make! Although, I will say the way people are able to hold onto devices they have purchased (phones, tablets, computers etc.). Once the app is installed, you have it for offline use until you delete or sell the device. So this fear isn't a concern these days thankfully. Thanks for watching! :)
@@RollingSolo I broke my tablet screen and my phone screen this year -> 14 years of bad luck. I am an Android and iOS developper and I could tell you why they won't work in 5 years. But let just say that they should give you the complete app for you to backup somewhere. The app they give us are empty -> everything is in their cloud. So it's not an app either, it is a hybrid app. Some companies just give you a link to a page contaning the full app as a web page that you can download. FF has a bad reputation of abandonning their stuff : Runewars.

Does it come with the same armor cards as the core box? Cause if it adds 5 new characters, it needs to have at least 5 armor types, right?
Not sure! This video should have those cards shown at some point. :) I just merged them all together and sleeved them the other night. I’d have to check.
We are at the third mission on our playtrough with Gandal and Dis , and the game is AMAZING.

Would recommend putting them in stacks based on number with the A side up on all stacks. Really expedites me finding the right tiles quickly.
