How are some of these players even allowed to take part in such endurance races?
The amount of people who go into yellows not paying attention to their spotter or VISUALS is hilarious... How these people ever got out of D class surprises me when they can barely manage that 😄

LMP or Prototype drivers that cant wait for the straight after the corner to pass a slower class car and decide to dive and potentially end the race for him and the slower car in a 12h or even longer endurance race should be put back in rookie immediatly.
Unwound93 totally agree. It’s the faster cars responsibility to make the pass clean and safely. I’ll move over if convenient but the racing line typically belongs to the slower cars.
I'm not on iRacing myself but this system seems inadequate. From what I understand with incidents, it forgets old data and cares less about older races, only looking at the current picture of a driver. So it seems your reputation is temporary, no matter how stupidly you act in one or two races. In real-life drivers would face severe consequences. Do they not have player leagues? iRacing could give them power to have their own race officials who govern and moderate them. Build your own leagues, run your own events, invite drivers, build a clean and proper community. I give it up to anyone who joins a race with random people who don't give a crap about them or their 12hr race.
@@michaelscott-joynt3215 Driver licenses are a joke now, you can get A class and be a total imbecile. In iracing's beginning you had to build your way up trough the licenses and that resulted on better races and cleaner drivers.
Now this is just hyping me up for both the 1000 miles and 12 hr. I live in the US, but I currently don’t have velocity, and would like to stream the 1000 miles. Any help?

I was behind that Porsche who hit the wall and “lost its wheel”. Scared the the piss out of me.
The Funny part of the PRT crash was - he crash in the spinned car, but the PRT GTE took out the PRT DP finaly Oo
1:21 For a guy with 7k iRating and a decent safety rating, that was pretty ordinary race awareness. You could see the guy spinning for a good 5 seconds but he mustn't have seen it.
My guess was he thought the car was gonna hold the brakes, but the yellow MERC kept sliding forward. Not to mention the car in the way, so he didn't get a super good view of the spinning car.
@@davidbowman2991 I think the guy in the Merc was holding the brakes, but the ABS doesn't let the wheels lock up so it'll keep rolling towards the inside.
I was thinking the same thing. Only fifteen laps in it's not like there was fatigue coming into play. Easy to see the bright yellow thing sideways up ahead and GT3 cars can't lock up unless you disable ABS. Even if he thought it was going to stay to the left, why not check up just in case. Still 11.5 hours left in the race.
Multiple factors playing out. The Dp got loose so he was focused on that alongside probably looking in his mirrors with it being soo early on. Again the ABS probably stopped the car locking up but if the Merc driver had any sense they'd have let off and re-applied the brake (there are ways round if you understand how basic ABS works). probably was also watching what everyone else was doing as well with it being a mix of classes.

wow thats a joke.. we got into a fairly low split and 40 out of 55 cars finished not much wrecking either (that we saw)
The guy in the 2nd clip of the car not braking has been kicked out of the team entirely for that. That team is usually very clean.
