MAJOR DISRUPTION FOLLOWING FIRE AT DISUSED LEICESTER NIGHTCLUB

Over 70 firefighters are currently tackling a large fire at a disused Leicester nightclub - an incident which has caused gridlock in some areas of the city.
Firefighters were called the the source of the fire, at the former Krystals nightclub on Gravel Street, at around 5:15am this morning (Tuesday, October 4).

Hmmm... Highly Suspicious Considering they planning to build hotel and apartments. Disused building somehow burns at 05.00-ish... Not suspicious is it.
Went there in few times in 1995 it was a good club.

How unfortunate. A large disused building next to the new bus station and condemned subway system, along the route of the new bus route infrastructure, suddenly spontaneously combusts. The council must be really gutted about how its demolition will free up a large space to accommodate the proposed super crossing over the ring road, and the potential widening of the road at the rear for an improved taxi rank and bus lane.
