Frankenstein has always been more of a tragedy than a horror novel to me. The monster was born monstrous, but only in appearance. He was gentle in the beginning, and became hateful and bitter after constantly being shunned by people who couldn't get past his appearance.
It's sad how narrow-mindedness can make an enemy out of someone that could be a friend.😔

I think I know why a dead mouse would work against tooth pain. I mean, if you have a dead mouse in your mouth, you would be totally focused on the mouse and would forget all about your tooth ache. 😄
