Hey MDawg :D You might want to mention that jigstep is generally a short reel in and a longer pause (reel in usually 1.5-2.5 seconds, pause usually 2-4 seconds) and that stopngo is often the opposite (long reel in, short pause). Also, you might want to cover the alternative method of jigstepping, where you rmb lift the rod to lift the lure and then reel in the slack rather than the normal version (has a similar feel to liftndrop although it will say jigstep). This method has the advantage that you can jig step at very slow speeds depending on the setup (in some setups even down to speed 1 even with hunter lures). This has the benefit of fishing a specific area for longer and thus more efficiently. Also, this method is easier to use on bottom with lots of elevation variation as well as in most waters with current. Sometimes even when casting and retrieving sideways in a strong current like f ex at Sura. Cheers :)
thnx for jig step explanation but question is sometimes lure does not hit bottom with touching bottom message, tho it wont promt jig step, but fish still bites :D
I can't it to say jig step at all, also can't get it to say touching bottom, why won't my lure drop down to the bottom? I have waited quite long for it to. this game is just such a pain, every thing is always such a pain in this damn game
I'm fairly new to the game so thanks for the introduction! I do wonder though what benefit the braided line has. I've been reading on multiple occasions to pretty much avoid it as it tends to harm your equipment more than any other type of line. Any insight would be welcome!
I feel like this is a videogame made for people who grew up fishing but now live in the middle of the desert. Otherwise I feel like real fishing would be a better use of my time lmao.

Tjezee as far as I know, it is worth using braid with spinning/ casting sets.

does the Spoon and the Jig skill stack if you use this?
It increases chances of hooking into a fish, yes.
