Hey Brad , those Barramundi where horses 😮 ! Another fantastic fishing trip , that river/ estuary system where you fish 🐟 is so healthy !! Just enjoy seeing what you catch , can stop looking at my phone 😂 the cook up always looks mouth watering. Thankyou keep your toes in the boat . Cheers Geoff 🦈👍😀🐟
It can be a very productive system to fish at times. I definitely won't be putting my hands over the side when fishing this river. The fresh fish was delicious! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to comment. Cheers, Brad👍
Awesome session Brad 👍. That little finman gave me a fright just watching it. I probably would have fallen overboard if I was there! That Barra feed looks superb. Great stuff mate.
Ahh yes. That system is the home of the bullshark in this local area.. when targeting the bigger class Barra it’s now basically impossible to get one in the boat. Over the Last 3-4 Years have lost about 50 fish over the meter mark to sharks all throughout the river.. not to mention all the other sized barras. Pretty much nearly impossible now. When side scanning around you can just see an count the bullsharks lol. And some are bigger than your boat! One day there will be an incident with a human an a shark in that river. It’s just a matter of time.
G'day mate. That 2nd Barra was a bloody nice one. Mate I'm sitting here all the way down south and I got a hell of a start when that shark come up. You wouldn't want to twiddle your toes in there. Was that Nth of T'ville that river you were in? It looks familiar when my son and I used to go out a river and the mouth to an island north again from the outlet. Bloody nice fish.
Too true, definitely don't wash your hands or feet in this river. The shark sure got the adrenaline flowing! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to comment.👍
Great video Brad , reminded me of the line from Jaws .....we need a bogger boat ! The bullsharks and crocs are gettong bigger and cheekier , time for an upgrade maybe ? Take care mate . Tony .
Very true, the sharks and crocs appear to be growing in confidence, while I loose mine in my small boat! I am definitely in the market for a bigger boat. Thanks heaps for taking time to comment it is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Brad.👍
I used to use 2 achors but it was a pain in the arse so I lashed out and got a Min Kota Electric and havent looked back. So easy to use, just press the achor button and you do not move, perfect. It did cost $4100 though but my back isnt that good due to all of the parachuting I did in the Army so its a godsend for me
Min kota electrics certainly have a place and would make life easy. The parachuting sounds a bit nerve racking for me, I'll stick with the sharks in the river! I greatly appreciate your comment and support. Take care, Brad👍
Gday mate cant complain about that what would that have cost in a resteruant . That shark would have scared me as well pretty close to the boat , even those prawns would have made a good feed take care .
Another great video the cooking section is a great way to end the days outing. Mate do you sell the shirts, if so where can we buy them? I am glad you liked the Kookakrumb 👍
How that barra jumped out that bull sharks mouth I'll never work out. You would have 💩 yourself. Another good session mate but you had to work for them. Really enjoyed the video.
Better take along the wife armed with the 12 ga to bring some gater meat home. I live in Oregon and when salmon fishing the seals sometime grab our fish.
The life of a fish is not an easy one! Constantly targeted by predators above the water and in the water! Thanks heaps for sharing your comment. Take care, Brad👍
Why didn't you finish netting the shark? you almost had it? I bet that got that heart started? Looks like you had a really good day out there Cheers Garry
I wish I knew what the key difference is between the two species, allowing for quick identification - without a degree in marine biology! Thanks for your comment. Cheers, Brad👍

Delicious
Sure was! Thanks for your comment, Brad. 👍
Always a good watch! What hooks you run mate??
Glad you enjoyed the video! I usually use a 4/0 to 6/0 Kahle hook. Thanks for your question. Cheers, Brad👍
I pulled a 10kg barra head in, not far from where you were fishing at one stage in the videos, bill shark got the majority of the fish,
The bull sharks can certainly ruin the excitement of landing a good fish! Thanks for your comment, Brad👍
Another great video the cooking section is a great way to end the days outing. Mate do you sell the shirts, if so where can we buy them? I am glad you liked the Kookakrumb 👍
Thanks for putting me onto Kookakrumb - Brilliant!👍I have a shirt coming your way. Thanks for your support. Cheers, Brad.
How that barra jumped out that bull sharks mouth I'll never work out. You would have 💩 yourself. Another good session mate but you had to work for them. Really enjoyed the video.
Lose Lose for the barra - it was in the shark's mouth or my esky😄. Thanks, Brad 👍

I am located in North Queensland. Glad you enjoy the video! Cheers, Brad.👍

Currently the legal size for fingermark in the state of Queensland is 35cm. Thanks for your question. Cheers!👍
At first I thought that black Jew??? Was a river Jew….no size limit but didn’t get a good enough look.
I wish I knew what the key difference is between the two species, allowing for quick identification - without a degree in marine biology! Thanks for your comment. Cheers, Brad👍
Ini dinegara mana?
I am in Australia. Cheers👍
Geez!! Did you need to use your spare undies. I just paid way too much for 260g of dirty Woolies Barra. Well done!
Lucky I had none on😉! It was a proper reminder of the risks when venturing into these rivers! Hope you enjoyed your Barra, Brad👍
