Seeing them and Korn this summer. CAN NOT WAIT! it'll be the first time I'm seeing them. I've wanted to see slipknot since 2014 and never got the chance. The wait is nearly over!!!!
How can he sing so well and then just start screaming I don't understand lol, I'm a minor to this kind of music... My dad used to listen to it when I was a kid, but I'm just sitting here and I've watched this whole concert and I'm completely fascinated about it. Fucking awesome music. When I hear "punk rock" or whatever this is (please don't be offended because that's literally a guess!!) I've always thought it was just screaming but some of these songs are fucking class, obviously I've heard of wait and bleed, duality, devil in I but even some of their other stuff is just quality... And this is coming from someone who listens to drake, Chris brown, Kanye west etc... Lol
+Captain Crusty probably duality, only because I've listened to it a lot recently and I had heard it prior to actually start listening to slipknot, and i had never heard it being played live
A lot of metal bands are talented. They just make music that most people can't listen to, lol. It sounds like noise unless you enjoy how much is going on at once. Slipknot obviously has a lot going on at once, I think it's too much for the average person to process. I'm not even a big fan of Slipknot, but metal in general is very busy sounding.
90% of today's Modern Metal vocalists can learn a lot from Corey Taylor's microphone technique. The man NEVER cups the fucking thing, nor does he ever basically swallow the damn thing. He sounds MASSIVE and clear as day. There's no "boom" from abusing the proximity effect and it just makes for a wonderful sound. Deathcore bands: take heed.
Song Distribution _Slipknot_ - 5 _Iowa_ - 1 _Vol. 3_ - 3 _All Hope Is Gone_ - 1 _.5: The Gray Chapter_ - 6 Also, are Jay and V-Man well-deserved permanent members yet?
They've only played Skinticket once live I believe... I love Psychosocial mainly because of Joey and Jim's contribution to it, but I'd take a show where they just played AOV & The Blister Exists... I've seen them 4 times and never have they played either one :-(
Joey's foot work and Jim's fret work are what sell Psychosocial for me... however, if I was ever to hear when Chris & Shawn start machine gun snaring it up in Blister (IN PERSON!), I'd probabaly have an eargasm that would be life changing
I am going to see them and Marilyn Manson in July. THEN in August, I am going to see korn and Rob zombie. to say I'm excited is an understatement! gonna be the best summer ever!!!
I came here to watch a video not see people complaining about Cell Phones. People probably record the concert to show to their friends you weren't able to see the concert
I was thinking the same. Specially Psychosocial. Ive seen it live and thought it seemed really sped up. Then again. Its their songs. They can do what they want. Never the same. Jim plays his solos different everytime.
no I don't think it is bad or anything. lol I was just sitting there one night listening to this and I was like "damn this is so fast compared to their cd's"
+Timothy Lingo They speed up tempos live to get the crowd going and they get into to it more like that. They cant get pumped during a show during a slow song.
Metal needs to be on the radio more. FUCK POP, RAP, AND "TODAYS HITS" FUCK IT ALL FUCK THIS WORLD FUCK EVERYTHING IT STAND FOR DONT BELONG DINT EXIST DONT GIVE A SHIT DONT EVER JUDGE ME!!!
I have yet to see these guys in concert. I sit and watch these shows all the time. Their stage presence is so energetic, gives me goosebumps. Jim Root in my opinion is one of the greatest guitarist of this generation. Long live the Maggot Corps. Slipknot for Life!!!
That's pretty obvious. Joey has been playing drums since late 80s/early 90s. Jay started playing when he was 14 (around late 90s/early 2000s) so Jay isn't as experienced as Joey.
Jay is a pro, he take tracks at the correct bpm so Corey can sing properly. Jay play in Slipknot, Joey played in Joey Jordison. Music isn't just about the skill.
They sound Powerful !!! Only gets better and the stage production is INSANE lots of $ involved. Here AT 43:30 Jim done Solo and he's Like ohhh Shit nooo this is so POWERFUL and join that killer Riff !!! :D
Kenny Fiorisi I meant a bit more in the sense for head banging and like that, sort of get into it a bit more. Paul used to do some pretty low and rad headbanging, the new dude just kinda moves his head a little bit.
One of my favorite bands. These guys have been through hell. They lost a very close friend Paul Gray unexpectedly. Most bands would have fallen apart but these guys stuck together because the fans asked them to. I was there the first time they did they jump the fuck up and it was fucking nuts. The only time I have been in a pit that wild was Slayer and they had weapons in the pit (I got stabbed). One of the best concerts I've been to and some of the coolest guys I've ever met. These guys are all about the fans, not the money. Really cool guys that keep it real.
Watching these guys on the giant stage is cool but I was one of a lucky few that got to see these guys on their first Ozzfest tour but in a very small side show at a local venue. Static X cancelled and Slipknot filled. The stage was so small that 2 of them had to play stage left, on the floor. The band was literally moshing with the crowd during the set. More like scaring literally everyone out of the pit. I think everyone in the room knew these guys were going to be instantly famous and it turned out to be true. The experience was indescribable.
Or maybe he's just feeling good because he finally recovered from all his injuries for once. The dude has broken his feet I don't know how many times at concerts - he's a nut but I love him :p
Agreed, saw Korn live my first time, they were really motivated, played my favourite songs and did a great show, I was jumping around suddenly noticing that I was about the only one in the crowd moving more than his left foot. Just came back from my first metal festival, got into a Wall of Death in the first ranks headbanging to a great band from New Zealand called "Alien Weaponry", 3 seconds in, came back with blood all over my face (great crowd tho). Someone understand those crowds..
Just came back from Summer Breeze, seen an incredible lot of incredible bands there, you could barely see a phone or two when scanning the whole crowd. People came for atmosphere, community, bands and good metal, not for snaps or posts.

Yall acting like the band are all disabled when the crowd is looking at their mom's Facebook post instead of jumping during Spit it Out.
Seeing them and Korn this summer. CAN NOT WAIT! it'll be the first time I'm seeing them. I've wanted to see slipknot since 2014 and never got the chance. The wait is nearly over!!!!
Sad generation we live in now. People are more concerned with holding up their phones than enjoying their surroundings and fully embracing the show.
Again with this bullshit
@@NECROKAZII which bullshit? he is absolutely right.
Lol
I meant metal
+Jake Landsbury not punk rock
Curious as to what your favorite song from the whole vid is?
+Captain Crusty probably duality, only because I've listened to it a lot recently and I had heard it prior to actually start listening to slipknot, and i had never heard it being played live
A lot of metal bands are talented. They just make music that most people can't listen to, lol. It sounds like noise unless you enjoy how much is going on at once. Slipknot obviously has a lot going on at once, I think it's too much for the average person to process. I'm not even a big fan of Slipknot, but metal in general is very busy sounding.
I Still Remember, Being At This Concert - I Was 25!! IT WAS, A AMAZING SHOW!!
+Cameron Walega It's a shame the instruments are more overpowering than his voice at times though
el microfono esta muy lejos de su boca y el tio esta viejo

Also, are Jay and V-Man well-deserved permanent members yet?
I'd say they are full members now
Harrison Bowman They've proven their loyalty & talent I think
***** Interesting... If I had to trade Psychosocial for an Iowa track, it'd be _Skinticket_ which if memory serves is Sid's favorite Slipknot song
Amo esta banda la mejor de todo el mundo espero ke sigamos teniendo mucho slipknot por un largo largo tiempo really Ilove this band !
I am going to see them and Marilyn Manson in July. THEN in August, I am going to see korn and Rob zombie. to say I'm excited is an understatement! gonna be the best summer ever!!!

+cuquita blanco im not going to the hospital i was just playing but i was doing to much headbanding that i hurt my neck but im okay
+Funny Man ahh okay
They put on the greatest show of any band on the planet! They do NOT ever Disappoint!
I came here to watch a video not see people complaining about Cell Phones. People probably record the concert to show to their friends you weren't able to see the concert
Jessica Dawn Newcomb if you come here to watch the video why the fuck are you going though the comments and complaining? just watch the damn video
KvSwooo I'm not the one complaining
+Jessica Dawn Newcomb that's why you keep your concert ticket uh duh
Ethan Hurley oh I didn't go to this concert my cousin sent me that link to it
I could watch it on my phone that I recorded at the show with no comments but I wasn't there:/
is it me but do they sing faster when they're live???
I was thinking the same. Specially Psychosocial. Ive seen it live and thought it seemed really sped up. Then again. Its their songs. They can do what they want. Never the same. Jim plays his solos different everytime.
no I don't think it is bad or anything. lol I was just sitting there one night listening to this and I was like "damn this is so fast compared to their cd's"
Its almost like they are rushed. They were probably the headlining band that night though so who knows.
+Timothy Lingo They speed up tempos live to get the crowd going and they get into to it more like that. They cant get pumped during a show during a slow song.
True!
3:10 is why I love Jim
La escenografía de la banda en este concierto es genial.
this one is better then knotfest
The second night of Knotfest is unbelievable!
Eric Giese the crowd was dead
At 49:47 that guy is like. What did I get myself into?
Band will never be the same without DICKNOSE! 😢
Metal needs to be on the radio more. FUCK POP, RAP, AND "TODAYS HITS" FUCK IT ALL FUCK THIS WORLD FUCK EVERYTHING IT STAND FOR DONT BELONG DINT EXIST DONT GIVE A SHIT DONT EVER JUDGE ME!!!
we could be great friends
+EmoKat yep
+Hannah Marie fuck everithing that kills you
It's because People=Shit
+Derrick Relitio We must have the same brain
I have yet to see these guys in concert. I sit and watch these shows all the time. Their stage presence is so energetic, gives me goosebumps. Jim Root in my opinion is one of the greatest guitarist of this generation. Long live the Maggot Corps. Slipknot for Life!!!
I have to admit I'm a fan of Jay Weinberg on drums, he's pretty good, but there will NEVER be another Joey Jordison. NEVER
i dont know i reckon in about 2 or 3 years he'll be just as fast and unique as joey
I miss Joey... Joey was my brother I'm not lying
I don't care lol hahaha yeah mate I love the united kingdom Queen lol yeah America is a continent not a Country haha
5:39 that's what the real sid should be doing
i think his body is too broken today from all his stage dives
you broke you fucking feet sid
his name is Aj Good his youtube channel is thehouseofmasks
IHATEAJGOOD
They sound Powerful !!! Only gets better and the stage production is INSANE lots of $ involved. Here AT 43:30 Jim done Solo and he's Like ohhh Shit nooo this is so POWERFUL and join that killer Riff !!! :D
Bassist needs to move more.
Paul used to do the same thing and stay next to the drummer.
Kenny Fiorisi I meant a bit more in the sense for head banging and like that, sort of get into it a bit more. Paul used to do some pretty low and rad headbanging, the new dude just kinda moves his head a little bit.
***** ya he is dead he died in 2010 www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&rlz=1C1DSGP_enGB624&ion=1&ie=UTF-8&rct=j#q=slipknot+paul+gray+death
Mackenzie Hunter WTF
mauther100 Yeah knew that, was talking about the new bassist...
Favorite song in this concert has to be Vermillion love Corey scream on 39:40 to 39:50 AWESOME!
Javier Velez ioo
Well... I mean... ya know...
The rich people is on the sides of the stage, the normal people is in front of the stage, and the poor people is watching the video :'v
Haha true
And the good people are those who headbang.
pit tickets were 500$ lol hows that normal people, thats a lot for a concert. I went to one of slipknots pits, was wild
The people who got screwed by Covid watching from home. I was supposed to see them in Alphare...I mean kings landing!
What's the point of going to see a band LIVE when you're watching the show through a mobile?
thanks so much 4 sharing !!!! one of the best performance of them !!!
Will Mick every be able to headbang the way he used to?
Buttdischarge No, he has said previously that he has thrown his back out, so I doubt he'll be able to
Buttdischarge at least he's actually headbanging. everybody else just stands there
Buttdischarge maybe it has something to do with his brother stabbing him in the fucking head lol
Leland Dyer lololol winning
RAGIN RICKY bodies get old, and can't move like they used to. one day you'll understand.
these phones trigger the shit out of me
Watching these guys on the giant stage is cool but I was one of a lucky few that got to see these guys on their first Ozzfest tour but in a very small side show at a local venue.
+1 for playing Eyeless
Geddy’s owl nose Approves
HAHAHA MADE MY DAY
Are you really Fehn? I doubt it?
+Brae Scanlon no he's not the real fehn
Slipknot #1
Of course he's fake
This is just for the retards, not fakefehn
That was wonderful.
Sid is going crazy on stage again....... Is he back on LSD again????
Or maybe he's just feeling good because he finally recovered from all his injuries for once. The dude has broken his feet I don't know how many times at concerts - he's a nut but I love him :p
Specialist01 OK.
Specialist01 your right sid is a nut
***** Seems accurate :D
+Metal Thunder I wouldn't be surprised if he was, lol.
3:17
Corey is so cute with the tongue action!
bleach Hahaha your name
Essa voz do Corey não tem fim, inacreditável!! O cara continua cantando muito até hoje!
I feel like when I start a band my gigs are gonna be no phones
wow look at all these kids just holding their iphones up and not enjoying the music.
When Corey started screaming in wait and bleed you couldn't gear him at all
6:27 there it goes clown's drumstick
I saw that without realizing what it was
lol now he can't find it
que buen concierto....tremenda banda....hoy dia la banda de rock the real que tenemos...
They come this month to Colombia, i'm fking exciting !!!!
you are off for like 3 months
Quien iba a pensar que volverian? Nos vemos!!!
this crowd is WEAK, let's just stand here with our phones in the air REALLY?!
Boogie Baeza nigga you can barely see any phones. Stop being butt hurt on how people wanna enjoy a concert that THEY paid tickets for.
The crowd at download is way more up for it but that was 09 before everyone has phones recording full live shows
I hate how the audience is holding mobile phones all the time instead of really enjoying the moment without phones, you feel me?
It's like playing for a bunch of phones. The people aren't even there anymore
como nao amar essa banda?
Loved that show. I was in Jacksonville FL just before that one on my birthday. Had to hide from a tornado & everything. Hell of a show.
Come to Brazil!
Again? xD
+Jhonny cage X Rage yees, we love Slipknot. 2016, they going for here?
in brazil they have nice festivals man xd
+JCosta I swear to god i always see this bastard on every live slipknot video xD
i cant believe Jim is using stratocaster for metal
you can use a strat for any music coz strats rule above all guitars. proper workhorse guitars.
Shin Chipowski EMGs That's why
Called "Power-Strat"
Shin Chipowski put humbuckers in anything and it will be fine
Shin Chipowski wait Jim root from Stone sour?
Just came back from Summer Breeze, seen an incredible lot of incredible bands there, you could barely see a phone or two when scanning the whole crowd. People came for atmosphere, community, bands and good metal, not for snaps or posts.
