The guy who once went by VHSGoodiesWA would definitely enjoy seeing this.
I quite possibly watched this broadcast... I was in 5th grade
@@M167A1 I was in the 4th grade. This was five days before the “Miracle on Ice,” February 22, 1980. One of Al Michaels’ most iconic early calls.
Thank you for the warm memories. ☮️💟
It saddens me to see how our country has truly gone from a GREAT nation to approaching a third world status........ Thanks for the good memories, Pannoni8!
Many thanks for this, and all the others (esp 70s and & 80s). Was in the 8th grade in ‘80, and boy does this take me back!

Wasn't that George Jefferson's Bar Tender aka Luigi from the Super Mario Brothers Super Show! in that Stanley Commercial?
I didn't realise you could still advertise smokeless tobacco products on TV as late as 1980 in the USA.
I remember seeing chewing tobacco commercials into the late 80s.
How many jingles did Luther Vandross do? Military recruiting commercial.
At 7:40 Didi Conn for Chevy Monza
