I like how its not as stiff as the originals, nor as acrobatic as the prequels. It seems much more gritty and or calculated, like two experienced old fighters.
Because neither of them can be as acrobatic now; Obi-Wan is old, and Vader's armor weight added to his own is more trouble than it's worth. "Henceforth, you shall be known as darth...
*DAVE* "
the guy playing Darth Vader looks like someone who would actually be in Star Wars movie lol
Yeah, he jut looked like a new sith lord in the clip without the helmet.
Ikr
someone hire this guy to act as a sith lord
Fits the part much better than the guy playing Kylo.
Anthony Smith Adam Driver is a good actor, I honestly think his role as Kylo is already good. I think this actor should play the role of Darth Revan or another Ancient Sith Lord.
Been an avid star wars fan ever since I could remember and to see such a lackluster scene turned into a beautifully choreographed scene truly makes my day. Keep up the great work!!
"Were you in this scene too?"
"Yes."
"Who were you?"
"Wind."
Why are fan films better than the actual films? Disney should have hired real fans to work on the sequels.
Because Disney likes money too much to take any risks with franchise as big as star wars. If they can churn out mediocre bullshit and get away with it, they will.
Funny, somebody said the exact same thing only 3 days before you.
Kermit Master Dog who? Cas it’s nice to know others view this in a similar way.
Sad part is disney see it as a business not for the fans
i actually like the disney films
This team has the passion, vision and talent that Disney and LucasFilm lacked. A 6 minute video had much more impact than the new trilogy combined.
Hopefully we will see more FXitinPost productions in the future
Totally agree!
Fuck off dude
@@sobgray pretty sure Disney did way more than this but go off lmao

Thanks to all of you who made this film possible. As a 7 year old (1977) watching Obiwan battle Darth Vader, I was mesmerized. Now having watched your rendition of this famous light saber duel, I am speechless and in awe seeing the ferocity and savagery that you’ve “injected” into Vader’s fighting style! I LOVE it! Thank you thank you thank you!
it would be great if he did a reimagining of the battle of mace windu and jedis vs palpatine
Don't....don't give me hope. I would love to see vapaad done Justice in practical film fx.
The novelization of Ep. 3 gives far more detail about the battle than what we saw, so it's a manner of a full book adaptation
The music alone gives me a hint of what could have been in a proper sequel trilogy....
Stunning from start to finish. Absolutely brilliant visual story telling.
I just want to say thank you to all the people involved. The fight sequence was true to both characters insane. This to me is now canon
The best visual effects are done when they're intended from the beginning. Y'all clearly have nearly everything planned and take every step to make it as practical as possible to make it better and it shows.
This was just as emotional to watch as the "Reimagined Scene 38" itself. Congratulations. You guys rock.
Yes. There was a bit of a delay in the release. And a reason why...
At least these guys made it worth it!!!
AWESOME JOB!!!!!! 🥰
Thanks for appreciating the love!!! Now, take over LucasFilm... 🤔🙃
When I first saw sc 38 reimagined I was just in shock of how good and fantastic it was, appreciate how much dedication and effort went into this. Thank you for such amazing videos.
Masterpiece!!!!!!!! ❤
This is how true love for creation of a story is achieved! It's not about money, it's about putting your heart into a story and creating something beautiful. To all those involved and those of us who preserve this... wonderful job!❤
I’m amazed at the amount of work and effort it took to make this fan film.
Disney should lick your boots, hire you and pay in gold...
Beautiful, beautiful, and beautiful. I will never get sick of watching SC 38 reimagined. Seriously one of the best things ever created. I watched it when it came out, I've shared it with friends (regardless if they are fans of Star Wars or not) and every time it's the same emotion and feeling just like the first time I've watched it, if not better! I love everything about this.
and all this time I just thought it was a couple of dudes making it from their home... huh.
I thought the whole thing might be computer generated.
lol ????
@@fullclipaudio You can't just generate something like that with a computer, nobody can... Not even Hollywood. You still need actors and greenscreens.
@@Whydoyoureadme I disagree. The only reason it didn't happen sooner was because of the uncanny valley. Computers can generate scenery and building that you can not tell the difference. The moment the uncanny valley is crossed, that people will be generated by computers. No need for actors ever again-thank god.
@@fullclipaudio lmao you have no idea what you're talking about. If you want live-action, you need people. Period. Computers can generate buildings, scenery, yes, then if you have them create characters too, you can tell they're "unreal", fake, digital, from a fucking mile. If you want it to be REAL, then you need actors. I suggest you do your research on the subject, NEXT TIME. Maybe you'll show some respect to the art of acting. Maybe.
Thank you for making a wonderful update to a classic scene. It flows very well with a New Hope
excellent work you guys. i actually almost cryed at the end when obi-wans voice came one. "you were the chosen one!"
Geez I thought SC38 Reimagined was like an amateur job. Nein! These dudes are elaborate pros! :O And in a sideline, even the audio in this video is reimagined
Who is Better?
Anakin Skywalker: *like*
Kylo Ren: *comment*
Ben Solo
@@thejedi1914 The ability to speak does not make you intelligent.
Skywalker is better
I want to go with both, because both had a story line I had seen in my head that would’ve been nice, but I feel like Kylo was poorly executed... while anakin’s met my expectations (IE: he was still the chosen one ignoring legends in the original EU, he slew the emperor in the end, and brought balance to the force)
@@gilbryn
I think Kylo was actually well handled for the most part, he was just kind of put on the back burner for the RoS. Is the only character with a consistent ark in all three movies. Anakin I think was actually pretty poorly handled. His turn was way too fast, but they kind of fixed him in Clone Wars so that's good
Beautiful, just beautiful. Anyone involved with the making of this updated fight scene should receive a huge hug and a thank you 🙏🏼.
I can’t even put how amazing this is into words. These guys took an already good scene, and made it better. To everyone who made this, you did a brilliant job. Keep the amazing work up!
This is simply an amazing piece of work. This is what happens when everything unfolds as you have forseen...
We have to give credit to the team behind the scenes as well as the actors. If they didn't give their valuable time, we wouldn't have the absolute masterpiece that we all love. Thank you for taking the time to make the video, I really enjoyed it
this energy and vibe reminds me when George directed the original release films such as the new hope :)
You did an amazing job on the original video and making it still feel like the original actors. Your crew is amazing and has so much potential
Simply, THANK YOU!
I have seen the reimagined SC38 video around 100000 times. It's pure gold.
Good job with the VFX work for inserting Guinness’s face. Flawless.
This project was much more professional than I ever imagined.
SC38 Reimagined is the most magnificent piece of fan filmmaking I've ever seen.
And this BTS vid is pretty awesome, too. It's got an even better score than SC38! And it was really impressive to see the performers IRL, without the CG. I think it actually shows their athleticism a little better than the final product.
this deserves so much more credit
Oh wow the ragdoll Obi-Wan wasnt CGI, they truly yanked the actor
Awesome, no words to describe this powerful project
Why am I so hyped at a behind the scenes video?
Original: me and the boys in real life with sticks
This: me and the boys in out imagination with sabers.
how did anyone dislike this? it shows way mor emotion especially after the prequels when you hear "i hate you" and you were my brother anakin" . seeing how this project was done is amazing. excellent work all of you!
I hope the guys get the response they wanted because I think it is a masterpiece
Mad respect to you guys. Thank you from a 46 year old Star Wars fan
Know all your hard work has reignited my love for Star Wars. You brought it all back, all the wonder, all the awe, all the terror, and I salute you all for this magnificent work. Take note, Disney.
*Not the heroes we wanted but the heroes we deserved.*
*Great gob guys!*
I can't stop watching this, I've shown it to everyone I know an I have even edited it into a special "New Hope" version.
You have perfectly captured the proper essence, an brought both characters the justice they are so deserved
The voice overs or whatever at the end...
"You were my brother..."
Perfection!
Whatever this was for, I hope you won/got an A+/got all the bragging rights
Sincerely
A viewer
An amazing way to show that Kenobi is still a legend
This is what the fight should have been.
Quinton Blake would of been cool but the og movie was made in 1977 so not much too work with
Rey _ it would be cool if Disney remade the original trilogy. It won't be the same be it would look cool and get loads of money.
Quinton: The Disney trilogy IS a remake of the original trilogy!
George McGovern so it's a remake with completely different characters?
@@itrthho Lol fair point.
CANON!!!!
yep , personally I edited the star wars on my PC to replace the original scene with this one
if I had to how star wars for the first time to someone I show him the original , but for a second time or more , it's the edited version
nico that would look so out of place compared to the rest of the movie
@@SkynetT-1944 yes that's why I only show this version to someone who have already see the original
nico that’s what I’m saying it looks so out of place to me
The amount of effort and time they put into this for just a scene is incredible. The visual effects and the acting are just as good as the real movie.
I wish this was in the real movie this is one of the best remake I have ever seen MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!!
Honestly this is the fight we deserved
Wow, that's incredible! The final piece is a work of art and I'm glad to see how much work went into it
This is the story of the best lightsaber fight in the last 14 years...
That fist bump at 0:46
I have watched a lot of fan films over the past few years and that was epic. Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes magic.Congratulations Mr. Silvera, Mr. Clements, Mr. Dalglish and their amazing crew. I look forward to your next project.
I could imagine being one of those green guys at 1:01
Imagine the honour
