What Mark said about doubt and uncertainty (confusion) leading to fear is something I have been thinking about. It's really deep. To paraphrase what you mentioned: confusion leads to fear which makes us want to control and attack. It's like an extension of the Star Wars saying into: Confusion leads to fear. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
