We have talked about this. Our chicken feed price has gone up about 20%. We moved our price of eggs from $4 per dozen to $5 per dozen. No one has stopped getting eggs from us. Some of our older hens, who are not laying as often, have been sold to other people who don't need an egg six days per week. You gotta keep the farm profitable. Congrats on a great harvest! That is a conversation that is hard when it comes to pets vs livestock. I always go back to how was their life and I know that our animals have lived their best life.
