The only person that’s going to beat the huskies is the huskies ….the did the same thing last year but what they didn’t realize was coach was grooming clingan and Newton last year for this year. Coach got his formula now all he has to do is plug and replace. #gohuskies

I will speak after the fact and say no, they were unstoppable and had the greatest two year run in NCAA basketball tournament history since Duke 91-92 & Florida 06-07.

@@anandguruji83 we heard ya the first time. And yes, anybody that's still in the tourney can beat UConn on the right night. Every team has off games with poor shooting sometimes. They're not invincible. I think Purdue has the best chance just becuase Zach Edey causes matchup issues, but any of them CAN

Coming from a UConn fan, not a chance haha They might play a better team game, but the age/experience factor along with the skill level of everyone in the NBA. It wouldn't be close at all.

That would be a negative. The worst NBA team is still at least 40 points better than the very best college team when both teams play to their potential and “A” game.

Historical mediocre Purdue has no realistic chance to defeat UCONN if they met in the title game.
@@JTH-hm8ew That's historically. You are right. However, I could name at least 5 reasons Purdue has a really good chance of beating Uconn if they play them. They are Zach Eddy, Zach Eddy, Zach Eddy, Zach Eddy, and Zach Eddy. He is in the class of legendary hall of famers like David Robinson and Oscar Robertson. If the supporting staff around him play like they did in their first 3 games. They will beat Uconn. However, if they play like they did against Tennessee. Then no.
Further, of Uconn's 5 titles 4 of them they were shipped out to the west region. Plus, the teams with the largest point differential that made it to the final four. Most ended up not winning the title. Of the top five teams going back to the early 90s only 1 won it all. History is not on their side.
@@joshbeard9809 Are you forgetting about Clingan? He's better shooter, a better rebounder, better defender and more mobile than Eddy and the Big East is a better conference. Eddy is overrated and shouldn't be player of the year.. Eddy will go in the second round in the NBA and Clingan is Lottery pick, I wonder why...?
@@Ave8or Better shooter i'll give you that. But a better player that is debatable. A better rebounder that is undebatable. Zach Eddy is by far the best rebound in the league. Plus, Purdue is one of the best if not the best rebounding teams in the league as well.
Eddy will instantly make a team in the NBA a playoff team. However, he probably will have a short career due to his size or injury problems. Big men like he usually do not last because of this or are too slow.

the only difference is last year it took us til mid february to get to that level, this year it’s been virtually all season

This team, nor Dan, to a person, I promise, is the antidote to “the disease of me.” That’s the secret sauce that makes this team so special. And talent development, too. He takes unheralded guys and makes them rockstars.
