- Day 2 of our weekend trip to Zakopane and Tatra National Park. Today we really went into the mountains. We did the hike to Morskie Oko and even went further up high to Czarny Staw. A second lake on 1584 m. The weather was perfect. Cold, sunny, fresh and a little bit of snow. I took my Ukrainian family and friend from Finland here to show them the insane beauty of Poland. 🇵🇱❤

My cousin 9 years old granddaughter she got Rysy peak from Slovakia. Hiking to Morskie, Oko from Kasprowy Wierch and back to Kuznice.

Amazing hike to the scenic Morskie Oko and to Czarny Staw.
And what a beautiful video! This will be one of the most favourite of all your movies for me. You have faithfully conveyed the unique atmosphere of an exciting hike with friends among the wonderful nature of the Tatra Mountains. When I am writing those words, so many wonderful memories come to my mind. I used to do many similar hikes with friends in the days of my youth.
Thank you Nynke for showing us all the beauty of Morskie Oko and Czarny Staw, and for bringing back some of my most precious memories. 🙂

No to Nynke następnym razem pójdziesz na Rysy ! Ale pamiętaj że to trzeba wyjść wcześnie rano tak około 5 00. Szlak do Morskiego oka jest bardzo zatłoczony i jest ogromnie dużo turystów ale jest wiele szlaków tak samo pięknych a jest na nich znacznie mniej turystów .

Route with nights in shelters. From Zakopane Station to
Hala Gasienicowa. Murowaniec. From there next place with sleep over.
Dolina PIeciu Stawow Polskich and last leg. From there to Schronisko Morskie Oko.

Witaj Ninka, dziękuję za kolejny, piękny film z Twoich podróży. Tatry to można powiedzieć sanktuarium Bożego stworzenia, tam Bóg bezpośrednio przez naturę przemawia do serca człowieka. Jeśli lubisz wyzwania i trudne ale za to piękne szlaki górskie, to polecam Ci przejść najtrudniejszy szlak w polskich Tatrach, szlak Orlej Perci, chodzisz praktycznie przez cały dzień na wysokości ponad dwóch kilometrów. Kiedy tam byłem rozpocząłem od 6 rano i zszedłem ze szlaku o 22, a i tak go nie dokończyłem. Ważne jest to, że idąc tym szlakiem nie potrzeba sprzętu do wspinaczki ale dobrze jest zaopatrzyć się w GoPro bo nie raz nawet obie ręce są potrzebne by się trzymać skał lub łańcuchów ale widoki są tego warte. Zabrałaś nas w tym filmie w bajkowy świat, ale sama przyznasz, że żadne zdjęcie ani zadny film nie odda piękna rzeczywistości w jaką są Tatry. Pozdrawiam Cię serdecznie :)

Yes. It snows sometimes even in July sometimes.

@13:59 The color is even more fantastic (very intense like the Blue Lagoon) when you look at it from above from the summit of Kazalnica (one of those snow-capped peaks visible opposite the shelter).😍BTW On the northeast side there's a 500 m high vertical wall, famous in the whole Tatra Mountains, infernally difficult to climb and unclimbed for many years.

@@thewritingtraveler Then some facts about this particular micro region of the Tatra Mountains. The helicopter you saw was probably just doing a rescue exercise. Rescuers often practice there because of the aforementioned vertical wall of Kazalnica, the Mnich (Monk) peak (that sharp needle on the right side of the panorama) and the nearby Rysy, the highest peak of Poland.
BTW the large field of snow that you point your finger @17:41 (which is a few hundred y.o. - the snow, not your finger) lies just next to the gully, which bears the unofficial name "The Human Meat Grinder." Thank you for your attention. :P
