we needed everyone in minneosta to side with us. we begged, we made hashtags, we even protested until a law was passed within the infrastructure bill that made it so anyone protesting pipelines (usually natives) can be shot to death on site(H.R. 1374). this whole pipeline is just a disaster waiting to happen. we wanted to protect our water. but we were GREATLY ignored. we knew it was gonna leak, as it has in the past from the same company, enbridge. and the best part to all of this? the stuff going through that pipeline isnt even for america. its for oversees. damaging our lands here for money. not surprising of course. just disappointed that its 2023 and we made it so police can use lethal force against anyone protesting the pipeline (H.R. 1374) which just so happens to be mostly native american people. this whole topic is just the worst. not to mention treaties being broken- AND lots of people arent even aware even though we tried the most to spread awareness through all the platforms. thanks for sharing.

Lying liars. $11 million in fines is nothing compared to the damage already done.

You might want to check out the list of properties that got right of way money. Roger skjerven is listed. He passed away and chief justice lorie skjerven gildea was the executor of his estate while she ruled on line 3. Not to mention she was in grand Marshall for the parade in Plummer, her husband's efforts were for it and tons of friends and family of hers got money from it. She's a lobbyist in Chief as she claimed to be.

When you go to your local grocery store and your looking for wild rice, flip the label over and see if it's aitkin county. Those pipelines run through those lands. But guess what it doesn't even matter anymore because damage is done. Land is torn up. Nobody is going to stop 750,000 barrels a day.
