      ***** Not true. Kobe has better last minute/last 24 second clutch situations (higher fg%, higher assist rate, higher win rate, and more made game-winning shots).

    I answered that on a previous comment if you would have bothered to scroll down.
    The T-wolves still fell to a 22 win without Garnett, the supersonics did even worse with only 20 wins, 1 more than Clevland. All in all, not really a difference in the winning record.

    He doesn't get all of the blame now because the Lakers are no longer relevant as far as ESPN etc are concerned. Heat are the best team in the nba, and the most hated, so when things go wrong people (unfairly) criticise them for it. Back in 2008-2010 when lakers where the best team on the planet Kobe was maligned a lot, maybe not as much as LeBron now (due to haters), but still a heck of a lot.

    Actually, Celtics fans hate the guts out of the Lakers. you probably being the modern fan don't recognise the Lakers and Celtics rivalry, one of the most storied rivalries in sports history. If you think the Heat - Celtics rivalry is bad, you should've seen the 2010 and 2008 series.

  • @amos1er

    @ Kuroganemk2: League MVP is a great accomplishment, but it doesn't mean best player in the league by any stretch. If that were the case, MJ would have won it every year. Also, Lebron's Cav teams did not have Kwame Brown and Smush Parker. Clearly, his 2009-2010 teams were better than what Kobe had to work with in LA in 2006-2007. Also, you need to factor in eastern conference when you evaluate total wins. Lebron's Cav teams would not have won 60+ games had they been in the west.

My point was that tallying up the amount of Ringless seasons is a stupid argument of a players skill.

    Wow, then Stephen A smith, Shaq, and a shit load of other analysts must not know basketball. And I guess you got it all figured out. I dont give a fuck how PHYSICALLY DOMINANT he is, I played basketball and just because someone was bigeer than me didnt make him better than me. And that was my point the games were way more physical back then so when it comes to playing teams like Shaqs Lakers, MJs bulls or Birds Celtics and I can go on and on and on LB aint dominating shit.

    Are we know comparing the laker organization with the Cavaliers. Kobe was threating to leave when he didn't have good players on his team. Lebron on the other had was always under pressure from everyone, the media and Cleveland. From day 1 everyone set this high bar for guy barely out of high school. Kobe on the other hand never had those kinds of expectations. If you hate lebron for leaving Cleveland sure. But most of the hate he gets is stupid.

  • @MrCrushus
    @MrCrushus 11 лет назад

    Kobe has 9 ringless seasons and has been in the NBA 14 years. LeBron has 8 ringless seasons and has been in the NBA for 9 years lol. The amount of ringless seasons is a stupid argument.

  • @Mehranrokh
    @Mehranrokh 11 лет назад

    Kobe has not shot a single clutch shot in the playoffs in the last 5 seasons.
    King James brought 2 rings by his clutch shots the last 2 seasons.
    Get your shit right.

  • @jimlam9962
    @jimlam9962 11 лет назад

    That's what makes the job easier for Kobe. When Lebron had bad supporting casts their was no one there to help him when he needed it. I know you don't know basketball if you are saying Kobe is better than Lebron. Kobe always gets bailed out and Lebron always gets the blame. laker fans are delusional. When the Lakers lose they never blame Kobe but when the Heat lose Lebron gets all of the blame. That must mean Kobe is not as good because he is not taking responsibilities for the losses.

  • @joejoecomics

    You dont understand basketball. Obviously Kobe played a role in getting shaq. Also, The fact of the matter, Kobe teamed up with superstars. You cant deny that. Shaq was a bigger superstar than Kobe in the early 2000s. Kobe needed Shaq, just like he needed Gasol. To say that he never teamed up is a ridiculous comment worthy of ridicule. Yes, he did need Gasol because kwame sucked. He still needed Gasol. He didnt just need a post player, he needed one of the best in the league at the time.

    are u fucking kidding me. kenny said its because he's the black mamba, those so called kobe shots are jacks! he's lucky he makes them. its probably 70% skill 30% luck. but there's no fucking way he has all that skill to jack up fadeways being triple teamed and make them. Lol sometimes when he jacks shots even he cant believe it when he makes the shot

    For years the Lakers were not a championship team, and didn't even make the playoff twice.
    Kobe is the face of the Lakers like Lebron was.
    He is a bitch for leaving his HOMEtown team that pretty much accepted him as the franchise player.
    But then again whats more important.... Loyalty or rings.?

  • @nonameghost
    @nonameghost 11 лет назад

    you're blaming the team Cleveland for not able to bring Lebron the championship, but you're not blaming on Lebron who is *inside* Cleveland who can't win a championship? Isn't that very bias towards Lebron? It's like the the rest of the Cleveland except Lebron is the blame for not winning the championship.

  • @wornoutshoes11
    @wornoutshoes11 11 лет назад

    "better player" is not the right term my friend... it should be "more efficient". therefore u can say that steve kerr is more efficient from the 3 pt line than reggie. "better" is reserve for the totality of the game, 3pt % is just 1 aspect of it... clear?

  • @Zoul125
    @Zoul125 11 лет назад

    Look kobe didnt have anything to do with the Shaq trade do u think that a kid from high school 14 overall pick had the power to get Shaq to the lakers no way and he didnt team up with Gasol he asked the GM or the Owner for a post player so he knows that Lakers wants to win a Championship and Team with somebody is if u call somebody and telling somebody to come to his team like
    D Wade Lebron and Bosh did

    You being a celtics fan doesn't support your objectivity here. Heat plays in the same conference as Celtics, unlike Lakers, so one would assume you would dislike Heat more. Unless you actually watched alot of NBA during the showtime era, you have no reason to actually dislike Lakers more than Heat.
    That being said i agree that Kobe is the better closer and has had the better career. Keep in mind thou Kobe has had more ringless seasons as of now than Lebron, even if he has more rings.

    Im so tired of hearing that lebron is the most dominant player in NBA history, man if Kobe's was younger or if Lebron was playin with Jordan, stockton, david robinson, and them, all that would get squashed. Not saying that he wouldnt be good, just saying he wouldnt stop Jordan, which means he wouldnt be the most dominant player then, or in history.

    good job. Next time try reading the comments...Ive discussed this already, and you are just helping my point. I got the year wrong, but that doesnt matter. Kobe's fans know nothing about basketball. Those super low % shot's, the extreme difficulty shot's he takes in clutch situations are so bad. Idc how brave and bold you are, there bad look's. Atleast Lebron went to the rim hard and got fouled, plus his team's spacing was pretty bad so the lane was crowded.

    Yea but Kobe didnt leave Lakers when they had Kwame Brown Smosh Parker. He stayed and got them rings If Lebron stayed in Clevland he would have 9 ringless seasons so dont compare a TRUE CHAMPION/LEADER with a great player but aint no leader and kobe could have won more championships if he teamed up with superstars but no KOBE is a leader he aint gonna follow some other people they come to him or nothing

    Sure, he took way more shoots, which most of which he missed, hiw clutch fg% is at 31% Lebron took like a half of what kobe did, his % is 33%, both aren't great clutch players. Kobe just doesn't give a damn and will put up shoots and miss 2 out of 3, is that clutch to you? Kobe isn't a bad player, but he does tend to hog the ball a lot, he will get his 25+ points , even if he has to shoot bricks all day long.

    But FG% when comparing 2 player's who are volumed scorer's tells you alot about what shot's they are taking. Lebron takes safer shot's, why? Because the point is to make the shot, not how difficult or pretty the shot is. Kobe takes long 2's, fade away's, instead of getting open shot's. Is Kobe incapable of taking higher % shot's? Absolutely not.Then why doesn't he do it? hmm
