Today topic: Types of Singeing | Direct & Indirect Singeing | plate/rotary cylinder/gas singeing | Textile Ride.
Singing:
The process which is used for to remove the protruding fibers from the surface of the fabric.
It's further divide into categories:
1. Direct singeing:
The source of singeing is in contact with fabric, or touch the fabric.
it's further subdivided
A: plate singeing:
The copper thick sheet is heated through petroleum oil and than fabric passes on it . so when the fabric passes on the surface of hot plat, it's remove the protruding firber from the surface of the fabric.
B: Rotary cylinder singeing:
The heated cylinder rotates slowly in touch with fabric which remove the protruding firber from the surface of the fabric.
C: Gas singeing:
The flame hold at specific distance with fabric which remove the surface protruding fibers .
2: Indirect Singeing:
The source of singeing and fabric didn't in contact with each other.
It's creat thermal energy and use this for removal of the fabric surface fibers.
Radiation singeing: The fireproof ceramic block heated which radiate the IR rays and through these rays fibers remove from the surface of the fabric.
