She never did any of this for fame, though. She makes music because she loves the art of it. She goes by a stage name, too. She's right for saying it- she owes nothing to anyone.
@@ilovefloppacaracals it wasnt mostly for fame, entirely she made this project because she loves the concept of it, not like other celebrities who heavily rely on allat
Yet she chose to go on TV talk shows and do interviews discussing her personal life. I'm surprised such a dolt has any fans to begin with. I don't buy the victim narrative she's painting either.
I'm a Chappell Roan fan and hearing all these people harassing and stalking her is okay because she is changing everything and I wish people and especially her fans can understand that she is a person and not just a celebrity that you can just go up to and make her feel even more uncomfortable. I am a fan of Chappell Roan and I respect every decision she makes😊👍
"RANDOM" is just her saying that she is a normal individual who just happens to be known by a lot of other people, not necessarily random by popularity
That’s true. I understand and agree with her overall message, which is why the only thing that could’ve made the delivery a little better for her is some different wording here and there. It was how she felt in the moment, so I’m not blaming her for saying that
@@DeadPlayin The whole parasocial point, although true, is terrible PR. Like I said she's just alienating her fans (including the normal ones) by essentially saying she doesn't give a f*ck about them. Whining on TikTok isn't gonna help her. There are steps she can take to actually make her security top-notch, but that doesn't get her sympathy now does it?
@@Nostalgic_4_Disaster I see what you mean. I did say the wording could’ve been better. The delivery wasn’t the best per se, but the overall message is still valid imo. She does need to take the necessary steps to up her security, and find ways to interact with her fans in less uncomfortable situations.
"learning a hard lesson" is a ridiculous framing of this. She's pushing back and being celebrated for it. Fans aren't entitled to anything beyond what they pay for. A person's boundaries are theirs to choose. Pretty fucking simple kindergarten shit. The singer here isn't learning, she's teaching.
I literally agreed with her in the video. The fans aren’t entitled to anything. Fame comes with people wanting to get your attention, pictures with you, talk to you, etc. She is learning a lesson about the fame in that sense. You could say that she’s teaching a lesson to those who want fame as well.
@@MermaidDoll420 I don’t think it’s fair to say that she gave up her right to privacy when she became a singer, cause she’s still a person at the end of the day that wants her own space. She definitely doesn’t have to do whatever her fans say either
@ArtemisRose-do6oe I didn’t even know people were giving out her address. That’s actually insane, and they should be prosecuted for that. I agree with your statement as well 🙏

Art = Fame = Money
I agree with you. She just wants to focus on being a musician instead of being super famous, so I respect it 🙏

why share music then? because she wants fame and money (not saying she owes anything to anyone)

Ok but she's calling all her fans random too, which only alienates them
@@Nostalgic_4_Disaster I wouldn’t say she’s calling all of them random. More of those who feel entitled to her attention

I feel bad I love her I grew up listening to her she is one of my favorite artist but seeing this really hurts me.

She is right, but at the same time, it will not stop and she should learn a way to make it work.
I agree. She needs some sort of security around her at all times
