- Today I am working with Tokit and cooking their curry laksa noodle recipe. I have been LOVING having the Tokit in my kitchen over the last few months.. its a 21 in 1 function cooking machine which means.. you can minimalist your kitchen as the Tokit can replace 21 kitchen cooking aids!

INGREDIENTS (to feed 4 people):
2 shallots
2 garlic cloves
1 nub ginger
1 chilli (optional)
Coriander
2tbsp sesame seed oil
200g laksa curry paste
600ml fish stock (I used 2 cubes in this)
2 fillets of white fish
400g pak choi
400g noodles of choice
2 eggs
1 tin coconut milk
4 kafir lime leaves
400g diced chicken
1tbsp fish sauce
2 limes
200g prawns
300g bean sprouts

Oh I really want one! You can even simplify this recipe a bit more by using the Tokit to cook the egg BEFORE starting the laksa. That way you can through them in an ice bath afterwards for easy peeling. You can also precook your noodles and just have them layer out and wrap in the fridge. This way when you put the hot laksa on it they will seperate again, and you will have no puts left to clean post laksa.

I only just got Thermomix didn’t know about existence of the one you are presenting. I definitely will recommend to get one of this it is so much easier to cook in them! I’ve never tried the Thermomix but I’ve heard it’s fab.. but yes the Tokit I would say is a cheaper version of the thermomix.. it’s brilliant :) this is my friends kitchen.. isn’t it fab.. she mad made it so so nice.. great to film in :) xxx

Yes it’s very similar to the thermomix.. I’ve never used a thermomix but imagine it’s very similar to the Tokit :) xxx

Hello TOKIT, I am confused why your European prices are 40% more expensive than other regions. It is currently $900 in Taiwan and the US, but a staggering $1266 in Europe.
@@adiands850 I guess that is something to do with VAT. 20% with VAT is about right.
@@F27MARKETING VAT would explain 20%, but it does not explain the remaining 20% increase?
Try with Amazon. Amazon sells it even cheaper than the price in Taiwan and US.

I am confused about purchasing a Tokit in the U.S. Do you have to be a sponsor and is it available now for purchase? The website says pre-order?
looks like another nifty gadget but at €699 i wont be buying one and the accessories are extra like the steaming basket
It is definitely an investment machine but does remove the need for so many other gadgets in your kitchen xxx
I use it a lot to puree meat, knead dough and sous vide. I think it definitely has that value, for a small kitchen.
£700 (if I have read it correctly on there website) that's a lot of money, it's very very bulky, I don't think it can do no more or less than probably 3 other kitchen appliances, not sure if this take off, great recipe there buy the way
It is definitely an investment.. but I use it all the time now.. it also keeps your food hot for such a long time after it’s cooked.. I also think it looks quite fancy on your worktop too! Hehe. Xx
Unfortunately the UK price has already gone up to £1010 (and that's with the current 10% sale). TOKIT will struggle to compete with Thermomix at that price, since Thermomix is a 20+ year brand with a solid reputation.

it's a bit pointless advertising food cooked in a gadget that nobody can afford?? ..
Tokit is especially cheap compared to Thermomix. I'm so busy with work that I do not have time to cook, and I don not want to eat fast food because it is unhealthy and expensive. Tokit make my life colorful, it can cooking, makeing drinks and desserts.

Yes, but tokit is cheaper and suits a wider variety of cuisines as it can have higher temps and revs
Thank you for sharing. No disrespect meant but as a true blue Singaporean foodie, laksa one of our national hawker dish is never served with Bok Choy or Choy Sum or fish fillets. It is sacrilegious. Please search RUclips recipes under Spice N’ Pans, Pailin’s Kitchen or Nonya Cooking for authentic Laksa noodles recipe.
