- Our local dam, Johan Neser Dam, or better known as the Klerksdorp Dam, is now completely dry. The drought season of 2015 - 2016 has been the worst for many years and has decimated much of the South African farmland. We can only hope that 2016 brings some relief.

I live in klerksdorp thank God there was a lot of rain this year cause now the dam is at 100%
The dams near Pietermaritzburg in KZN don't look to far off this. Every week now for usually 2 or 3 days out of the week we have dry taps... Praying for the rain to come.

Sad. We live near Hoover Dam in Nevada, Lake Mead is suffering from our draught.
It was the right time to send Bulldozers in and make it deeper.

I live in East Texas between Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend dams it's been dry my pond is just a small mud hole but it's nothing like the west . I have seen our lakes much lower than now . Riaan I'm building a scratch build 810mm with the Pixhawk from Radiolink and following your Radiolink APM build . It amazes me how these companies don't give you anything for instructions , thats sad when you look at how much you pay for their products . I also have the Radiolink AT10 , do you have a video on using it? I did get a instruction disk with it but I really like the way you do instructional videos they are easy to understand and follow . I hope the Pixhawk is pretty much the same as the APM 2.6 . Thanks and hope you guys get some rain soon .
Thank you Spencer, I hope rain comes soon too. Though I do not have a PixHawk FC yet I am planning on building a quadcopter using a PixHawk controller soon and will set it up on a Radiolink transmitter. I have the AT9 and AT10 and may do a video on both configs if time allows. I also have an AT9S on its way with the new R9DS receiver sent to me for review and testing so would like to complete a whole new series of video on the Radiolink stuff. I just need to find some time...
Riaan Roux Lol I retired in 2012 and have less time now than when I was working . I am sending another message on your Storm32 PID settings video Thanks I just found your channel while looking for info on Radiolink I also just bought the R9DS to get the Sbus . Plan to run my Pixhawk Sbus .
I would rather have the farmers use the water than not have any food to enjoy at the dam
