Guess that is part of the attraction to Bruno as an artist...I am of an age I really appreciate HIS appreciation of Doo Wop and much of the old school music. So great to have a skilled vocalist who loves melody....I do think Bruno is correct when he says he was born for this . He is at his happiest on the stage and we all reap the blessing of that. I just am so sad that his mom is not here to see the massive growth of his career..glad she KNEW...she knew.

My sister and brother in law have seen him perform twice on visits to Honolulu also. Bruno is so talented but it is abundantly clear where that developed from. Hope they see each other some, both stay busy I am sure.

Loved watching this again! John is a grand entertainer. I am not Hawaiian and live in Virginia USA but love the appeal of the islands and have failed to get there...flew over on the way to Australia once....crazy. Looking so forward to Bruno being back in Hawaii this April for the THREE SOLD OUT SHOWS at Blaisdell and to get to be home and with family. Sure they will reminisce about dear sorely missed Bernadette. I hope it is a marvelous time for them all. Bruno works hard and I wish he had more time back home.

@johnnykita I was surprised when John had told me that Bruno Mars was the same Bruno I used to watch doing Elvis Presley here in town..Bruno was only 4 years old then LOL : ) Wow!!! So twenty years of performing for that guy. : ))) He is 24 years old now.

Sarah.. John and Bruno's Dad and Mom ( John's Sister ) had a show many years back and Bruno would highlight it doing Elvis .. But It was John that taught Bruno the moves because John also at that time was doing Elvis....

This family seems to be a fount of unlimited musicality and joy for life. Esp. in light of the loss of dear Bernadette, I am so thankful Bruno has so much family to be there for him.
